It seemed like not long ago that number was 99.9%.
posted by Dr Winston O'Boogie93%....that's an interesting number. Not 90%, not 95%. 93%, that's what we're saying? Well, maybe if everyone does they're best, they can get that number up to 94% this weekend. At my high school, that was the difference between an A- and an A.

I didn’t just pull a number out of a hat

Lol wut?
Can we go back (like we did for fireman in the 1800's) to opting out of public service? For example if you are a former TV child star who thinks it is ok for grown ass men to sniff children's hair and wants to defund the police, would it be ok to exempt them from the police responding to said persons 911 call?

I didn't think you pulled it out of a hat. But doesn't 93% sound like a funny number for something like this? Funny not because it is a good or bad amount of violence. But funny because someone is actually trying to quantify something that has not concrete meaning? It's like saying 93% of people are good.

Is it 93% of PROTESTS are peaceful, or 93% of PROTESTORS? Because if it's the latter, and I believe it is, that means something closer to 100% of protests AREN'T "peaceful".
I mean, this is pretty much exactly what Trump said about "good people on both sides" that triggered everyone on the left.

There’s a white supremacy group who has protested in downtown Columbus once a month for the last several years. It’s always a bunch of dbags marching around with signs in front of the statehouse. They are peaceful 100% of the time. If they decide to kill someone in their next protest they could just say look we’ve had 100 protests and only one had violence so we’re peaceful 99% of the time. But when that happens your not going to see people going out of their way to defend the protesters and point out 99% of the time they are peac

You sure? I get what your saying but it would still be factually correct that 99 percent of their protests were peaceful

So the cop that got shot may have been hit by one of the other cops in the Breyona Taylor case 🤦♀️
Yeah it’s a useless stat. It’s also not fair to compare a three person BLM event in Pataskala, Ohio to a BLM event in Seattle and compare them equally.

I mean we can’t conclude either way bc of damage to the round it sounds like

I believe they did try to quantify it
My point is that they're trying to quantify something that is arbitrary, has not context, etc. It's like saying 93% of the people in the world are funny.

In the lower thread they get into the type of wound the cop had being more consistent with a close range shot. The cops didn’t test for gun residue and also are trying to distance themselves from also having 9 mm guns that day.

could be confused: 99.96% .........that's the covid survival rate.

And likely way higher than that since that's measuring only known positive cases. I happen to believe most all of us have been exposed repeatedly and probably a huge chunk of us have had it.
It looks like the lawyer for the cop who got shot and charged is now asking for the body cam that they said didn’t exist to be reviewed. Can’t make this up
posted by geeblockNo I didn’t say that. How many? It’s still a loooonnnggg way to go to catch up to right wing violence
Lol, you are joining SnL and ptown off the deep end of the left.
Support for the protests are dropping like a rock, even among African Americans.
Down from 81 to 63% among AAs and down from 53 to 34% among Caucasians.
Well 7% violent riots seems like alot

As it should be... including myself..it’s time to stop protests but that is not the same as saying I don’t or most people don’t support the movement. It’s not even black people protesting at this point. It’s people who hate the govt and criminals. It’s not hard to separate the good from the bad especially as objective as you are
