So why only fire one shot? That is consistent with many situations where people try to scare someone off by letting them know you have a gun and firing in their direction. I get this gives police the ability to fire back, but it appears they recklessly did so since they were charged, they paid her family 12 million and dropped the original  Indictment on the boyfriend. Obviously there is lots we don’t know

Wrong.

The home owner who has a gun first identifies his/her target before firing.

In general, the “warning shot” argument is just as weak (or weaker) than the “shoot him in the leg” argument. Shit like this is why it’s hard to take anti-gun people seriously or the idiots who pretend they are pro 2A, but are not really. You’re pulling the trigger for one reason and one reason only, which is to kill.  If you’re firing a “warning shot,” then you better be prepared for return fire. 

This is just basic shit. If you’re a gun owner and you don’t understand what guns are for, then please sell them to a responsible gun owner.

Note: this doesn’t take away from the fact that no knock warrants are bullshit, especially in civilian attire. I am placing this disclaimer, because I know some dumbasses here will misinterpret my post.

Well he isn’t in jail and that usually isn’t the case if you shoot a cop. The original indictment was dropped. We will see if they decide to charge him again with anything but clearly mistakes were made. Her boyfriend had never had a charge against him in his life I highly doubt he just up  and decides to shoot a policeman(knowingly) for his first crime.

I with you on this if someone came in my house unannounced I would shoot. 

If I a cop and someone fired a shot I would also fire back. 

I don’t think either side did anything most people wouldn’t do. I think the problem is no knock warrants. They sit up a situation where it can go wrong like this. Let’s change the rules so there are no more Breonna Taylor type incidents. Rand Paul tried and democrats voted it down.

The warrant was a no knock warrant and there have been different witness accounts about if police did knock and announce tgem

There was a Proud Boys event in New Albany yesterday. Lost in the usual "right wing = white supremacist" nonsense was any mention that it's highly likely that the group is more racially diverse than the city they visited.

According to you nothing is racist so I can believe that you don’t get it. I don’t know that every chapter of this group is the same. I’m sure it depends on what city. I saw the he proud boys in Utah had a joint rally with blm. I also have observed very racist members of this group.
