Nice shoes, Ironman92.  Do they come in wide widths?

Uh-oh, we had another one yesterday.  Mrs. Zunardo picked out a new refrigerator that matches the finish (black stainless steel) on the new stove we bought two months ago.  I think this is the second fridge we've bought since we bought the house 27 years ago.

All these new appliances should (I hope) last until I'm 80.  After that, probably won't matter,  I'll be reduced to eating gruel in the nursing home by then.

How do you like the night vision with your predator? I was looking to buy one but the one I was wanting is about 2k.

Aslo I bought a farm in Kentucky.

Full disclosure, it's a huge pain in the ass setting up that ATN Scope. Maybe I'm just slow when it comes to that, but still i wasted like 2 hours with youtube help. Now that it's up and going, i really like it but haven't had a good chance to go do much hunting yet.

i believe they do. My sister in law runs the DSG/Field & Stream in Huntington and gets Brooks off their website at basically 1/2 price. I paid $62 for those. Got my son a different style for $54

Bought some new sweaters from Banana Republic. They are actually reasonably priced when they run their 40% off sales.

Today was a rough day for the wallet. My wife spent a bunch on clothes and makeup and various dumb lady stuff. I bought a new (used) driver from Callaway, a new wool button down shirt (with 3 free pair of wool socks) from Wool & Prince. Bought two new smart bulbs. Looking at some cool/cold weather golf gear right now.

Yep, I work right next to one of their stores in SF. They're pretty great if you can get a plain wool t without some dumbass graphic. Most of their shirts are a blend that include wool, but the wool is spun around a nylon core for structure and durability. However for the price (on the website they're usually around $75 a shirt) I'd prefer the MW (which I linked in a previous post) for slightly cheaper and MiUSA with a lifetime warranty + no graphics [personal preference].

However, the MW shirt is slightly heavier and only comes in one weight. If want a lighter weight (great for the hot/humid cincy summers for example) I'm going outlier run weight or the Icebreaker ultalite or feather weight if they have a color you like. For my body type, I prefer the fit of the outlier, and I think the material is slightly more comfortable, but end of the day they're both great.

Bumping this up since it's relevant. Finally pulled the trigger on a nice wool shirt. Bought a button down from Wool&Prince and it was delivered today. Quality is NICE. Fit is very good. It was pricey, but got 3 pair of socks for free, and they appear to be very good quality as well.

I went with this color: https://woolandprince.com/collections/button-down-shirts/products/button-down-heather-gray

Nice!! Glad you got one. The 3 socks is nice, helps the sting a bit. As you wear it, I think you'll end up liking it more. The benefits of wool will really start to shine.

Indeed. Also asked for another shirt (burgundy) for Christmas, which according to my wife was purchased with the same sock promo. So I'll soon have two shirts and 6 pairs of nice socks.

I paid $128. My mother or MIL paid $128. So $256.

We all spend money of various things... I could never pull the plug on a shirt for that much.  They look really nice and comfortable, though.  What is the noticeable difference from a cotton button down?

Breathability and odor resistance are the big selling points for me. I've read of folks who wore this exact shirt for 100 days straight without washing it with no noticeable odor. And, having seen the shirt in person now, it's ridiculously soft. Should be easy to dress nicer in the mugger Cincinnati summers as I usually walk a mile to and from my parking spot for work. I have a couple wool long sleeve t shirts and I can wear them a lot before they need washed. I wore one for the entire week I was in the boundary waters this summer and it didn't stink when I left.

Nah. I stunk, but the shirt didn't.
