Been caffeine-free since August. Enjoy not having any, outside of some chocolate here or there.

What are the differences you've noticed?  I drink probably 8-10 fluid cups of coffee of coffee in the morning, the equivalent or often double in pop throughout the day (PepsiMax or Diet Dew... both bad, I know) and often times a zero cal. energy drink in there.  I have a TON of caffeine in a day.

I didn't have my first coffee until I was 23 and a fifth-year senior in college.  A particular class, which met twice a week, gave out about seven hours-worth of homework each class.  It met at 8:30am on the days we had it, and with senior project, some (though minimal) social life, doing my small part in planning our wedding, and such looming, I often was doing homework late into the night before the class.  There were nights when I just didn't end up getting any sleep, and energy drinks weren't cutting it anymore.

I'd accumulated a lot of meal credits, so I started using them at the campus coffee shop.  After a particularly long all-nighter, I ordered a septuple shot of espresso, and other times, when I ordered coffee, it always had a shot or two of espresso in it.  No cream or sugar.

Since then, I've pretty much been a 3-5 cup of black coffee a day guy.

Wife usually makes a pot in the morning; I grab one for the ride, then usually have a couple more cups at work.  Pretty addicting, sometimes I am still topping off a cup and its almost noon.  On the weekend I don't mind grinding some beans from a good bag, willing to try different stuff.

I drank coffee in college and for a good bit of my 20s, but then stopped and haven't had any since. Just got sick of the taste and I've overall just lost interest in caffinated drinks. Now, I mainly just drink water (sometimes with apple cidar vinegar added) during the day.

What does the apple cider vinegar additive do for you?

I was really hoping for more than what I got.

Nothing. I don't see one difference. Haven't felt like I lost a pound. Don't feel like I have more energy. Don't feel like it affects my day any differently. I'd drink several Dr. Pepper's (or Diet Dr. Pepper's) a day. If they weren't available, I'd get Diet Coke or Coke Zero. Bonus if it were Cherry Coke Zero. A Thornton's gas station is right by our place and work, their massive drinks are like $.79 and I'd swing by there daily.

At least I can somewhat feel more healthy not drinking pop and caffeine. Best thing about it, save some money. I have replaced my pop intake with anything that costs like I spent on it. Gives $10-20 per week back to us.

I will also drink iced coffee / cold brew in any season. I don’t like hot drinks when hungover so iced coffee and Pepsi max are my go to.

One a day, two if struggling.

Cold brew during warmer months, red eyes occassionally.

I need to stop spending so much on coffee.. I'm thinking about gettign a Ninja Coffee Bar, single serve without the K-cup nonsense. I've heard great things. Keurigs are the worst.

The Aeropress is super cheap and quick for a single cup. Might be worth a shot.

I've used an Aeropress. I like it, but you still have to boil the water. I want something quick for on the go.

This thing has great reviews, all makes pour over iced.

I've seen the commercials, wasn't sure it was legit or not.

For the aeropress, I usually microwave the water for about 4 minutes.

We have one of these that heats up water to the correct temp in about 2 minutes.

What is your daily coffee routine?

I make one, sometimes two, cups with my Aeropress in the morning. I use Private Selection beans from Kroger, and I grind them immediately before brewing. Most days I'll run out and get a cup of coffee in the late morning or early afternoon while I'm at work.

We also have a Nespresso machine. My wife uses it the most, she likes espresso (latte's) but doesn't drink coffee. I'll have one a few times a week.

Couple of cups straight black in the morning at home and a if any left it makes my travel mug.   Only time I will put stuff in it is if I get it at a gas station and it's lava hot so it cools down.   Not real picky what kind.

I love my aeropress as well. I use it Saturday morning when I need just a quick cup. Whenever I travel,  I also take it with me. Pretty simple to pack when I am on the road.

Do you use the paper or metal filters? I bought a metal one a year ago and do the inverted way to make mine.

Paper. I also do the inverted method.

Does the metal filter work well?

I use the paper ones that came with it, I do wet it first though. I als odo inverted, is just seems to work better that way. How many scoops do you guys put in?  Everyone online weighs it but I don't have a scale.

My grinder is set to grind the right amount for me. So I just hit the grind button and dump it in. I also wet the paper filter.
