That's almost as funny as the reports I was seeing:

"high powered rifle is a euphemism for AR-15"

"it was an AR-15 style rifle".

That last one was particularly funny.  Apparently, any semi-auto rifle is now "AR-style".

Meanwhile, hardly anyone talking about the block party shooting in Gary, Indiana.  Two guesses as to why.
