The terms "icon" and the "GOAT" are often thrown around haphazardly when describing a lot of sports legends. To refer to Scully as an "icon" would be doing him an injustice for what he did for the game of baseball. He was a true treasure for America's Pastime. Will truly be missed. RIP

Had to check, nine Brooklyn Dodger players still around. Chris Haughey is oldest at 96, Carl Erskine right behind at 95. Sandy Koufax is 87. Bob Aspromonte the youngest at 84.
