And was in the Korman's Kalamity episode during the second season of Tales from the Crypt. One of the few where the main character got a happy ending instead of getting killed, imprisoned, turned into a zombie or some other horrible fate.

The name was Earle.  Seems like that name goes better with the hats!

We talking about the same John Goodman?  I saw him in an interview recently, looks thinner then he did on Roseanne.  Not saying he's in the best of shape, but it's better than it was.

Good for him. Some of those older episodes of Roseanne he looks like a monster.
