Hardly anyone was advocating for more nuclear capacity even just a few years ago.

Now people are realizing renewables are a pipe dream as the primary source of power generation.  Still a lot more expensive than coal, but it's now at least palatable to the greens to add more nuclear.

Meanwhile, in Germany...

Not to minimize nuclear waste, but I was shocked that all the waste from all commercial nuclear energy since it started some 60 years ago would only fill one football field 30 feet deep.

Was curious the other day and saw that the breakeven on solar panels is still 8-10 years (including subsidies).  Except if you wanted to rely entirely on solar and avoid disruptions, you then need expensive batteries....and essentially there is no break even.  But perhaps it won't be that much more than traditional power.

Definitely the way to go for off-the-grid.  Or if things keep degrading and we start seeing regular rolling blackouts in the US...

Is there a specific reason they are allowing/making this guy talk so much? It seems cruel.

Imagine seeing this video and believing this woman would actually try stealing a bike from 5 dudes. Then spreading it around the internet, contacting her job, bombing her reviews, and doxxing her husband. And then it turning out she did pay for the bike and they were trying to take it from her. When will these morons learn. Multiple accounts did the same, and hopefully she sues like Sandmann did.

That’s exactly what the 14th amendment is for! Hmm…no? I love how he continues to dress like a dick bag like he’s some common man and didn’t live off of his parents for 50 years. The repubs are so stupid.

The only thing I can think of is he makes Biden look competent by comparison?

1.) Pennsylvanians love their underdogs, don't they?

2.) Overton Window

I’m still waiting for how the 14th Amendment, which is about citizenship, equal protections for all citizens, how HoR is divided among states, and being kicked out of office….

How does that apply to the debt ceiling?

And before anyone says the part about paying back past debts…the debt ceiling doesn’t stop that, it stops NEW debt. Huge difference.

Shhhh .... we're supposed to believe he received more legitimate votes than his opponent.

How dumb do you have to be to think a 6-month pregnant PA is trying to steal a rental bike from a kid?

Although, we'll see who produces an actual receipt.  Possible it was just a fight over the last remaining bike.  We'll see.

But Ben Crump with the winning line "weaponizing her tears".  I'm guessing he wouldn't say that if she wasn't white.

From like 5 kids. It’s bc they’re Just itching for racism.

I posted the video a few posts above, there were multiple bikes. And her lawyer has the receipts. Hope she sues a lot of people.

Yeah, I'm supposed to believe that the pregnant woman who just got off a long shift and is literally straddling the bike in the video somehow muscled her way through a group of large male yutes to steal their bike? Sure, that could be the case, but Occam's Razor seems like it would apply here. She got on the bike, paid, started to leave but was essentially held hostage for social media points. Again, I'm more than happy to be proven wrong here.

Her lawyer says she has receipts to prove she paid for the bike. I'd also be surprised if there isn't CCTV footage of the entire incident available somewhere.

The whole thing is a little bizarre. Why would the hospital put her on leave immediately when she could presumably produce the receipt, or they review the CCTV you refer to?  Could have been a precaution on their part, but seems strange.

It also seemed a little odd that she refers to "my fetus".  She does also refer to "my unborn child".  I'll let it slide as just being ingrained as the proper medical term for a PA, otherwise I can't imagine another pregnant woman referring to her "fetus" unless she's uber-woke.

The absolute zeal the mob on twitter took on twitter in attempting to ruin her life was quite the scene. They doxxed her, her husband, her home address.
