Beyonce, JayZ, KK, all of these people have nothing against some of the agitators that have been in the WH under the Obama administration. Al Sharpton was at the WH several times and all he is is a race-hustling hatemonger. I agree with Boogie in that movie stars and singers shouldn't have THAT much influence. However, political hate mongers are exponentially worse.
Thank you. |
That goofy "thumbs up" Trump gave Kim is sure to become a meme classic....even Kim had to be thinking "this guy is a retard".
Hard to believe CNN aired Dennis Rodman interview while wearing a MAGA hat .........libs had to be seething.

I am sure they were laughing and not seething. Did you actually watch the interview? Everyone should be laughing at that one.
I saw it from about the time he started crying; my point is I am surprised they put him on the air with a MAGA hat.
Blacks hate Trump don'tcha know...
It's crazy how the last 24 hours has been, at worst, a great step in the right direction for an otherwise troubled country--NK. Yet, depending on which side of the United States political spectrum you fall on, it's either good or bad. Tells you how terribly divided our country is right now. If you're left leaning, you hate that Obama was given so much shit by the right for trying to do this and you are basically rooting for Trump to fail here. If you're right leaning, you're chest thumping about a meeting where two untrustworthy people simply said a few promises to each other.
Very few people can sit back and take something as "well that's good news to see" and THAT'S IT. It HAS to be about politics and which side of the spectrum you fall on. And THEN you create your opinion. Pretty sad..
Yeah, some of the right and left are annoying on this.
The summit was fine. It was a decent 1st step. Some of the language was a bit soft in comparison to the start of the Six Party Talks back in the day. Trump saying no more military drills without informing the commanders was typical Trump, but overall the start was fine.
It is just the 1st step in a long process. A welcome one, but just the start.

Yup. And if Obama did it the right would have thrown an enormous hissy fit and called him a traitor.
Hard for me to trust anything Kim Jong-Un says or does, and I don't think he is any more respectable than Hitler. But if this can end in in ridding them of nukes then good.
they def changed their tune. Also it seems like we gave up several concessions and they gave up nothing? What am I missing?

This is pretty easy to cut and is one of those duh things. Of course they were against whatever Obama was doing. It's part of the game. If Obama was doing the same thing, Fox would be crushing him.
That's not the story.
The story should be ok, this is happening and that is better than the threats back and forth. Now, that it is happening, how is it different than the last few times. So, far, it is just like all the other times. But, let's see how this plays out.
On your last point, it is too early to say who gave up what as this is the first step. It is all about posturing and setting up the terms for the next step.

I'm repping you because I agree and because it cracked me up that this site's most consistent doer of what you said also agreed.
Anybody who is chest-thumping at this stage needs to sit back, relax, and see what ultimately happens. Obviously this is a big step that had to happen if there is ever to be real change on the Korean peninsula, and that is a positive, as are the other things that have already occurred. But we are probably not to the 4th inning yet.

yea no chest thumping but the alt left needs to stop trashing also. They are losing in every aspect of politics right now and they just make it worse

Says the guys that would blast Obama if he was in this position...but whatever.
Yes, I agree we are still early in the process, but already we are seeing the two sides tell different stories. North Korea is saying Trump caved on the exercises ending and that they still won't end their nuclear program until America provides security assurances. Also, Trump saying North Korea is no longer a nuclear threat is just laughable.
Ball is in Pompeo's court to make this all work, but so far, we are still seeing the same old North Korean playbook.
Had obama made this trip the media would have fawned over him as if he was the second coming .......and then demanded he be crowned with another Nobel peace prize.
The hypocrisy, bias, and calculated maligning are immeasurable. The media have destroyed themselves from within, by allowing their ranks to be dominated by liberals by a 9-1 margin. I have no idea how they can possibly win back any semblance of integrity.
That statement makes no sense. You are blasting the media for something that never happened....you just assume that's how it will play out.
I feel dumber reading that....
