Twitter rampage is real, folks. There's not a democrat on there that isn't acutely hysterical at this point over the NRA.

Virtue-signaling on the left is completely out of control.

Never thought I would say this, but THANK GOD the orange clown won the election.

Nevermind that the local sherriff in that area didn't do anything, the FBI didn't do anything, the security guard didn't do anything when he heard shots. The NRA is responsible!!!!

I abhor the theatrics that are going on now with MSNBC, CNN and social media. I don't know if these people need a dose of reality or a dose of suboxone. And I think that this will only serve to work in Trumps favor in the long run. I don't know if the midterms will work quite like how the democrats will expect it to, due to their theatrics. I'm starting to believe in the idea that all these meltdowns and tears will only serve to strengthen Trump. We'll see, I guess.

That was my point to heretic in the other thread.

Delta and United Airlines have added their names to the list of companies that have cut ties with the NRA. Like THAT is going to do something. Anybody else getting fairly disgusted with how companies will bow down to online mobs of social media?

They will probably go back in a month once it slows down. This is literally only creating new NRA members. The left is so stupid.

Dont even get me started on the dumbass high school students being paraded all over CNN with super shitty opinions. Lol one of which was kids should boycott Florida for spring break.

Their actual opinions, or the scripted ones CNN fed them?

The thing I didn't understand was how being in the NRA warranted any sort of discount rate on anything since a lot of this cutting ties seemed to refer to how they were no longer honoring NRA discounts.

They have discounts to NRA members. Just like they give discounts to AAA  members.  Here in Cincinnati everyone's and their brother gives discounts to Proctor and Gamble employees.  It's a way to attract business.

I don't really understand why you ever do business or give preferential treatment to a political organization.  The negative publicity isn't worht it, and that's why they are cutting ties.  AAA is not involved in politics.

Oakland mayor tips off illegals of pending ICE raids.

Should make her a good candidate for a cell block.

I agree with this. I mean, I did just join, but it wasn't for the discounts.

And now some dumbass politician from GA (governor, maybe?) is threatening to end tax breaks for Delta until they reinstate the discount program.

I think the tax break had already been revoked, they were in the process of giving the break back to them, and now they aren’t giving it to them again now. I think Deltas’ decision was stupid, but I think playing politics with the tax break is messed up.

Trying to force a company to do business with the NRA?  I know it's politics, but that's ridiculous.

It is not forcing them to do anything.  The tax break expired; Delta probably wants it to be revisited; GA under no commitment to do anything.

But I am glad for once that somebody at least stood up and took the side of the non-politically correct group, because 99% of the time it is the other way around, continued caving to liberal ideology.

MSDNC host says that handgun bullets are not fast enough to be effective against school shooters.  Why does anyone take these idiots seriously.

That's an interesting spin.

It's dumb because it's attaching political strings fiscal/economic policy.  It happens, but nothing so blatant as a quid pro quo between from a company in exchange for economics benefits

You'd be completely off your rocker if this was happening with, say, Planned Parenthood.

There is nothing wrong with siding with those who support the 2nd amendment.  You act as though it is somehow subversive.

Politicians control state tax policy; they also have the authority to make their beliefs known.

It is blatant crony capitalism.  If you are a true conservative, you shouldn't be a fan of it.

Exactly.  But like a true politard he doesn't care when he agrees with it.

I applaud the hilarious concept that "siding with those who support the 2nd amendment" = "making sure they get their flight discounts and other frivolous perks of membership". Talk about being entitled...
