Hope it doesn't make me look like QQ to suggest that it could be a group of statements from various administration members in various contexts turned into a narrative that wouldn't fit the actual contexts.

That's maybe not a bad guess.  To some extent, it DOES seem to be a compilation of things we've heard before.

But all this effort to paint Trump as an authoritarian, and the way there's no apparent shortage of swamprats with a hero complex....The fact is we've seen the courts and Congress can be and ARE an effective check on what Trump can do.

The more you analyze it, the more this article really doesn't make sense.  OK, so you're afraid of Trump....but you've been able to positively influence him and have accomplished a lot of good things....so you're smearing him and in the process you - an alleged Republican - are handing the House to the Democrats?

Note also the timing of this article just a few days after the Woodward book comes out.  So Trump proclaims the book is inaccurate, but oh look, here's an anonymous op-ed from a high-level staffer validating it.  It all does seem a little contrived.  I'm not saying the article is fake, but while we mock the "deep state" conspiracy theorists this IS a perfect example of coordination of anti-Trump resistance.

Not pence.  Politically if he wants yo2 be president he needs trump to be successful.  The only way he wins is running as trump 2.0

Booker and Harris taking turns seeing who can be the biggest dipshit during these hearings (beating our Feinstein and Blumenthal).  Both of them probably going to try and run for President in 2020, good luck. Booker did, or threatened to, release classified email documents from Kavanaugh. I hope they punish him as much as they can.

I have another theory on this NYT article....Trump or his people are known to orchestrate some of these things so he can turn around and knock the credibility of the media.

But the NYT may have inadvertently given Trump some basis to end the Mueller investigation....here is a "deep state" "never-Trumper" admitting to actively obstructing and resisting the POTUS.  That is what Trump has claimed is real purpose of the Russia investigation.

So again is there an ulterior motive behind this article?  You write an article attacking Trump, while at the same time throwing gasoline on the fire of one his biggest claims about the media and deep state undermining him.  You could have gotten the same points across without making that particular point.  Doesn't seem too smart, unless it's intentional.  Heck, maybe the purpose is to trick Trump into thinking it's cover/basis to end the Mueller investigation.

What should be worrisome to many people is that this is not really bothering Trump's base. Just today in an elevator I heard a young couple (probably mid 20s, no older than 30) talking to each other about how they didn't care what was said, that they'd vote for him again today if they could. I saw about three other people glancing at them with dead eyes when the couple were saying this haha!

It's a public hearing. Protests are a part of the process. Always have been and always will be. Let people have their say, even if it is staged.

I am willing to be wrong, but I don't remember outbursts like this in any other SCOTUS hearing in the Senate.

Ehhhhh, the basic point of that article is "Trump is a dangerous, unstable moron who's running an effective Administration in spite of himself".  Sounds more like a self-important smear than something to be concerned with.  There is a lot of noise and a lot of hyperbole about him - I don't think people are idiots for tuning that out and focusing on the results.

So the notoriously thin-skinned, intolerant moron ultimately listens to you and lets you do your job, making the decisions you think are best....and continues to employ you despite your self-described insubordinate behavior?  I don't think it's a stretch to think Trump might not be nearly as ineffective as people keep portraying him to be.

Without saying much about him as a businessman, he has a 50-yr track record employing thousands of people....despite the caricatures, that's not the mark of someone incapable and incompetent.  You'll see the needle start to move when people start attacking his policies rather than his personality.  Everyone knew he was an asshole - that's not why they voted for him.  I think people should be careful throwing around labels like "stupid" about Trump supporters who continue not to care that he's an asshole.  And how are we surprised, in 2018, that people who voted for the POTUS are pretty much immune to any criticism of the POTUS?

According to Ms. Perry, any comparison of MAGA hats on the right to pink pussies and dildoes on the left are "over-simplified".  Interesting.

Wait.....there's an industry blacklist for warehouse workers?

Why can't people just laugh at Trump like healthy, well-adjusted people?  It's not like there's any shortage of jokes....

So CNN has a judiciary member saying that Trump is a 6th grader mentally.

They will say anything to win this.

This article explains the frustration so many of us had with the prior deal with Iran.

It's pretty incredible how many people allow Trump to affect their daily moods.  If your mental well being is dependent on who is in the WH you need to reevaluate your life.  I hated Obama, but I could have gone weeks without even thinking about him and that's living in DC with his sheep treating him like a god.

How did I miss this, it is hilarious. More hilarious are the fucking losers who have donated $475 to her. Also, daily reminder of the morons on the left, Strozk's gofundme has raised $462k. All who donated should punch themselves in the face.
