Guess that might put a bit of a crimp in his "I'm gonna try to play the Masters" talk I'd been seeing!

That crash in CA sure seemed DUI-ish too. The cops basically took his word for it.

I just don’t care for people who drive drunk, especially celebrities. Guy is worth over a billion dollars. He could probably take a fucking helicopter everywhere.

Throw him in jail.

From what I've read, it's not for alcohol (blew 0.0 on the breathalyzer), but because he refused a piss test. Considering I've also read in the past (most recently, I believe it was his California wreck where no charges were filed) that he does have a love for pills, guessing that means he popped a few before hitting the road.

I mean with the way his back is he’s probably on some kinda pain pills daily.

I know my mom has a bad back and will go about a month or two on prescription pain pills until her pain doctor can get her in for a steroid shot.

Not making excuses but it’s easy to see how he could get addicted.

I mean, he's Tiger Woods.  He doesn't HAVE to drive the Ferrari (or whatever) to the club to pick-up chicks.  They already know who he is LOL

This is the fourth incident we know of.

When he crashed in 2009, he was passed out on the grass when police arrived.

He got a DUI in 2017 because he was passed out on the side of the road in his banged up car.

The 2021 crash that almost killed him - single car crash with no other explanation

Now this one.

Painkillers are addictive beyond understanding and this guy clearly has a major problem. I hope he can get himself the help he needs.

Rex Chapman got addicted to pain killers with a back injury and ruined his life and now is clean today and works to help others. Chris Herron is another example. Pain killers are highly addictive and will control your life. Clearly he hasn’t admitted he has a problem.

I’m guessing it may not even be a problem but something he needs to function after everything his back has been thru. The problem is thinking he can still drive on those pills.

As an aside, back pain is probably the foremost reason people go to the ED to ask for pain meds. Some of them you can tell just by looking at them what they are there for. Addiction is so bad, everywhere!

Why are we acting surprised? He has been hopped up on painkillers since his first back issue. Dudes eyes are glazed over every single day. He hasn't been sober in probably a decade because he is probably popping Percocet and Vicodin like candy. I feel bad for the dude that he probably needs to take that crap just to get through a day, but get some damn help man.

Agreed.

Doctors had wife on them for a few years and she went to the pain doctor and told them to find a way to get her off of them or she is going cold turkey and dealing with the withdrawals.

She has been off them for about 10 years now.  She never "over did" them but they definitely changed her personality.
