Anecdotal, statistically he is right. The typical person that gets really sick and/or dies from COVID-19 are those already in poor health or very old.
The oxford vaccine is being done as not for profit.
So I thought my friend was getting out tomorrow but I guess he has to stay 5 more days and is on 3 liters of oxygen per so much time I forget.. but at least it’s not a ventilator.. so hard to get good info cause he can’t have visitors

My friends dad is older but they wouldnt release him until he tested negative twice in 24 hours. I dunno if that’s standard or because of his age.

My wife has a co-worker who claims to be absolutely terrified of getting covid, has been super dramatic on zoom calls because he thought he had it (tested negative). But he just got back from Hilton Head with his future in-laws and is going to Florida with his parents in like 2 weeks. He's driving my wife absolutely nuts.

We need to create a power ranking of worst kind of people during all this. The “my rights/no mask!” people would probably be at the top. I’d also like to nominate the person who’s always worried about what the numbers in two weeks will be, specifically after a holiday.
