I'm saying OKC took the pacers behind the woodshed. Very similar to how the celtics fucked the cavs in the Irving trade.

Lol...Pacers got an All-NBA player and Domantas Sabonis. Then went on to have a better season. You’re honestly the first person I’ve heard not say the exact opposite.

Pacers took a risk and ended up with a good player. Literally no one, not even O's mom thought he would have as good of a season as he did. Look at what the Pelicans got for AD, who publicly requested a trade AND said only to LA. Look at what PG went for 18 months later. Pacers didn't do Koby Altman bad, but it's definitely a lop sided trade IMO. You're being too kind to the Pacers GM IMO.

PG was also a rental (in theory). Oladipo had shown lots of flashes in Orlando he could blossom. He and Sabonis are and were better than any of the players New Orleans just got imo, though I do think Lonzo can be a real asset. And those picks might end up trash.

I dunno, everyone’s all excited about picks and unprotected this and blah. I’d take a guy who has shown he can be the best player on the floor in an NBA game over what’s likely to be picks in the 20s.

Like the Thunder...all those picks, will any of them help? Unless they flip them for a player, I bet not. Maybe they hit on 1. But Clippers won’t be on lottery anytime soon with those picks and the Heat probably going to land RW and in a hilarious turn of events fuck themselves on those picks lol.

I dont think it makes either team much better, but what was the ceiling for the Rockets? 4th seed probably? They weren't going anywhere either way. Might as well trade the old, injury prone guard who may or may not be feuding with Harden for Westbrook. Also, sign me up for some Harden - Westbrook State Farm commercials.
