The guy who saw it live, called it Marshall ball, which I think the video corroborates and is what they let stand in the end. The AZ player behind knocked it out of the Marshall players hands with an upward jab that imparted the overspin when he knocked out of the two hand grasp he had. Excellent call by an excellent official.
Sigh.....So I was the only person to pick Purdue in my pool (and no one else had them in the finals),which would probably have been enough to win the pool for me. But now Haas is done.
