FvF was really good. I was looking forward to it for over a year, and it didn't disappoint. I've said before, the year was amazing for movies. Cant believe it was only around my 5th favorite film.

I've got the itch to watch They Live tonight. It's a 10/10 for me.

Not really a movie but watched the Athlete A documentary on Netflix the other night. Everyone involved in USA gymnastics the last couple olympics are complete pieces of shit, with Steve Penny leading the way.

I watched that too. Disgusting
Son of the Sun
Watched Chinatown the other night. An easy 9/10 for me.

"Greyhound" sounds really interesting, premiering July 10th on Apple TV+. I don't know if you'll be able to watch with the free 7-day trial offered, but a sub is only $4.99 for a month.
Stars Tom Hanks, about a commander of a navy destroyer escorting merchant ships in WWII under attack from German u-boats.

Is this the 3rd installment that Hanks and HBO has (BoB/Pacific) that got all fucked up and ended up with Disney+?

No idea, but I don't believe so. Apparently this was produced by Sony and slated to be released in theaters, but due to Covid-19 they instead auctioned off the rights and Apple won.
Son of the Sun
Eraserhead -- 9/10 -- a gloriously fucked up 85 minutes that is kind of like being transported to a parallel universe where everything is pretty much like our society, but just off enough to make things weird and a bit disturbing. David Lynch is the true god.
Tits McGee
Long Shot - 6.5/10. I laughed a lot.

A little movie binge this week: Ford vs Ferrari, Midway, and Bad Education. Coincidentally, all 3 based on true stories/events.

Old Guard 7/10. Good action flick.
Harriet 7/10. Pretty good movie about Harriet Tubman and her early years. Good cast.

Old Guard - 7.5/10
Greyhound - 9/10, but a really quick watch. About 82 minutes from start to credits.

Tremors - 10/10.
Son of the Sun
A History of Violence -- 9/10 -- Good shit, even if the high school bully character was the most ineffectual high school bully in the history of high school bullies.

Jersey Boys. It's my wife's birthday and she wanted to watch it. Entertaining enough, the music is good.

Greyhound was awesome. 8/10!
FYI, if you bought a new Apple device (I think in the past year) you get a promo for free Apple TV+ for a year.

That is one of my favorite shitty movies. The rest of that franchise, though, is downright awful.

Never watched any of the sequels lol. I didn't want to ruin the original.

Tremors is on Netflix, right? I might watch that this weekend.

Smart move. One of the sequels, I recall, was decent. The rest got progressively worse. It's absolutely shocking that it's an actual franchise of like 5-6 movies.
