That's probably the worst one regarding disturbing level. Overall the show is great, one of my favs.

The worst episode. I'm glad I didn't start with that one, if I had I would not have continued to watch. I still find the series very hit or miss.
The cycling/dance episode and San Juniper were great, amazing shows. The pig fucking, and the video game in the brain one were horrible. The others are in the middle. Haven't watched season 4, but if you're just looking for the best eps, I'd watch those two mentioned and maybe S3 E1.
posted by ernest_t_bassI'm through Season 1:5 of Peaky Blinders on Netflix. There are 4 seasons, each with 6 episodes. So far... out-fucking-standing.
I love Peaky Blinders.
Finished Dark last night.
My mind is now in a pretzel. Amazing show.

If you start it, don't bother with the English dub. It's terrible. Watch in German with English subtitles.
If you enjoyed Masters of the Universe as a kid, there is a great episode in a series called The Toys That Made Us (Netflix) about the history of the series. They had other episodes for toys like GI Joe and Star Wars.

Ever watch James May's "Toy Stories" from the BBC?
Just started watching Atlanta and The Good Place.
Both are really better than I expected.

Nope, never heard of it.

I love, love, love Atlanta. I can't wait for the second season in March.
The Good Place is also very sneaky good.
I started watching Sneaky Pete on Amazon. Bryan Cranston steals the show as the villian in his scenes. The show has a very Justified vibe to it.
I also started the Chi on Showtime. It wants to be the Wire for Chicago, but just fails so far. It is good though.

I saw one episode of The Good Place on the plane back from Vegas a week ago. It was good enough that I've already caught up. After watching Ted Danson on CSI Cyber (which really wasn't as bad as it gets credit for, but was far too formulaic), I wondered if his career was headed to a bad place. Glad to see he's found some legs in this.
As for Atlanta, I will pretty much always give Donald Glover the benefit of the doubt. The man is obscenely talented.
I've always liked Giovanni Ribisi since I saw him in Boiler Room and Middlemen, so I was looking forward to Sneaky Pete. Just never got around to it. Glad to hear it's so good.
As for Chi, I just saw an ad for it for the first time the other day. Wasn't sure what to expect.
Good god... just finished Peaky Blinders. Watch it. Everyone.

I’m through season 2. Should be through all the eps in a few weeks. Good show.
Anyone watch American Crime Story: The Assasination of Gianni Versace FX??
I have it DVR’d, and it looks good. If it’s anything like the OJ one last year, I’ll call it a win.

I get that. I just don’t know how. That’s like not knowing who Ralph Lauren is. Even if you don’t wear or own any Versace, everyone knows the brand.

I've heard of it but couldn't tell you what product line it would be.
Sad but true I guess.

Don't get me wrong. It IS really weird, but if you've just never heard of it, you've never heard of it.
I actually remember when I heard he'd been killed. I didn't have any special connection to the brand or anything. Just one of those weird, crystalized-in-time moments in my memory.
Anyway, if you're ever out and you see the below logo, that's Versace:
