What lower tier jobs do you not mind or wouldn’t mind doing?
For me it would have to be around things I enjoy.
Usher at MLB stadium
High school coach
City Recreation Director
Golf course mower I could probably enjoy

Neighborhood trash picker upper.
Which I already do.
It's amazing to me how someone can keep their yard so immaculate, yet not pick up a candy bar wrapper laying there for two days.

I worked in a bottled water factory one summer. I enjoyed it. I got in great shape.
Food service didn't bother me.
MLB usher would be fun.
Best job I ever had was in high school working at a meat department at local grocery store.
i can’t tell if being a lifeguard would be a good job or bad. You’re outside at a pool all day but you’re dealing with assholes who don’t give a shit what you tell them to do.
I enjoyed bagging groceries, liked working at McDonalds and for County Highway Dept most of the time and loved umpiring....but that was 20-25 years ago.
I'd go back to valeting if I could get on here. Super easy, quick money and somewhat fun.
I’ve always loved landscaping. Taking it a step further, wouldve loved to be in the grounds crew at a country club but we only did apartments.

Yeah, I love the end result but just laid 44 bags of mulch this past Thursday and had to do it around a bunch of wildflowers and perennials. No bueno.
Had a job when I was younger at food prep place. I was responsible for making 8 batches in 8 hours. Each batch too less than 10 minutes. I basically got paid 6 1/2 hours a day to pretend to be busy.

I don't understand why people buy mulch in bags. It's so much cheaper to buy in bulk.

Not everyone owns a big diesel tractor with a front loader.
They deliver and dump it in your driveway.
A delivery guy (not driving huge trucks, but like delivering pizzas, documents, mail, etc...)
A national parks guide
House cleaner - long as it wasn't too disgusting, but I love cleaning, it's a stress reliever for me

still need a wheelbarrow...I'll take bags anyday...
OSU football redcoat - they paid you a few bucks, and you got to see part of the game.
Bowling alley - one year I worked every Sunday morning. Had the place to myself from 6 AM to 10 AM. Played music on the PA while I did the sweep down and oiled the lanes.
PA announcer for college basketball - Best seat in the house, and they pay you a few bucks.

Her kids bought her the gift at local hardware store. She didn’t have a truck or wheel barrow. She made 4 trips and threw bags in back of her van.
I’ve always found bag mulch to be better than bulk mulch personally. Bulk mulch is basically dirt.
I cut meat for years.....great job any way you slice it.
I currently deliver pizzas....great job any way you slice it.

Do people own wheelbarrows and shovels?

This brings the lulz. Not b/c I look down on it... just picturing you doing it. Just for fun? Extra bucks? You ever deliver to your work clientele? If so, do they fuck with you?

Pitchfork for mulch. Come on man!
While I'm nostalgic for several of the jobs I did in high school and college, I remember hating them all and understanding why I was working hard in college.
Groundskeeper on a golf course might be decent. Cab driver doesn't sound bad, but I know I could never tolerate driving for 10-12 hours a day. In the old days, maybe bicycle messenger in NY. Anything overly repetetive, anything menial I go insane. Although farming is something I might enjoy (I'd just probably suck at it).
After long consideration, I think the winner is: gym teacher.
This would have been a perfect thread for sleeper to derail.

He got mad....really mad lol
He gone.
No real jobs that I can think of, but I know this...
I left my last job that was stable, easy and i was surrounded by great people for a lot more money.....and it is an absolute shit show every day. Looking back, these lower tier jobs are probably less money, but a happier life.
