What did you season with... first seasoning I did avocado oil and now I use Pam spray before I cook and reseason with blackstone seasoning after I’m done
I just used canola oil or whatever was in the cabinet. I spread it on before my first use….turned all burners on for about 10-15 minutes until the smoke burned off….repeated 2 more times and then shut it off and spread some more oil on it. First use went great and 2nd even better. I haven’t sprayed it before use yet and when stuff has stuck it scrapes right off with their spatulas and hasn’t affected anything so far.
But I’m seriously going to ask about the old school McDonald's scraper and squeegee….I have no clue if they still use them but I knew how to make those grills shine and I’m still cautious to not ass up mine….but I’m not sure you really can. I’ll get back with you if I have any success getting the McDonald's stuff.
