I remember I was like 8 watching the Tigers, and I said to my uncle "watch, he's going to hit a HR".  Obviously Chet had some pop, but not a big slugger.  Anyway, he hit a dinger and I was so proud of myself.

I've reached the age where I hate seeing this thread updated because it's making me feel old.  A little bit of your childhood dies with each icon.

Yeah…I’m always interested but always hoping it’s not a big time fave from my childhood

Apparently a few days ago, actor Joe Don Baker.

Who both was in three different James Bond films (two different roles; villain in The Living Daylights, CIA ally in GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies) and in a pair of movies skewered by Mystery Science Theater 3000.

My dad had the 8-track that had Everyday People on it and I loved that song when I was a little girl!
