And he was just one of those guys who seemed immortal -- he'd been around forever doing his thing and it just felt like that was how it was going to stay.

FUCK! One of my favorite creators of Simply Weird As Fuck cinema. Remember loving Twin Peaks when I was in high school. Then saw Blue Velvet in college. Bought Eraserhead a few years ago and loved it. And have a few more of his films (Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire) on my Giant List of Stuff to Watch. He was a master of the surreal.

Dude was in a lot of stuff I liked, as he also was a member of Tygers of Pan Tang.

She made a pretty good run. I'd say in a hypothetical matchup:
Virginia Halas McCaskey 31
Ditka 34 (3 OT)

Damn. Cancer? I loved him. Those were some of my prime Buckeye loving years as a kid. I loved Karsatos because he had an “Everyman” quality about him. I didn’t think about it in those terms at that young age, I just knew the guy was likable. I got an autograph from him too,

Golfed with him, along with two other Dolphins, on the course that Caddy Shack was filmed on in the mid 1980’s. He was a good guy.

Michelle Trachtenberg, known for Gossip Girl and Buffy the Vampire Slayer...I remember her for Eurotrip.
Apparently needed a liver transplant sometime in the last year and was found dead "probably" due to transplant rejection.
