After looking at those links ^^^^^^^^ I’ll bet the Indians phones are ring-a-ding dinging.

(check out Freeman flinching on that clip....it looked like Bauer was going to throw it at him)

Not gonna lie, that was impressive.  He is a competitor, not a cancer

Not banking on Kluber being ready for the playoffs

Bauer would pitch the third game of the playoffs if they make it that far

The flinch by Freeman was classic.

I’ve watched it A LOT.....Royals runner at 2nd on SS side flinched but CFer was looking in CF bleacher direction and never saw Bauer fire the ball that way.....about 6-7 seconds after release CF turns back around kinda quick like.....did he throw a ball into the stands?

Yep, Mercado’s reaction is best. Lindor is good too, just a wry smile, wtf, turning of the head. Then Perez isn’t fazed at all and just looks back to umpire for a new ball.

Unless we are overwhelmed in a trade offer, I hope that we keep Bauer. I don't think that we can count on Kluber, Salazar, or Cookie at this point. Bauer is an a-hole, but he is an a-hole with some talent. It's practically impossible to win with all good guys.

The dip shits on social media screaming from the mountain tops that he needs traded because of this incident are fools. You trade him because of the value you get back. Don't think his trade value will be much higher than it is now despite what some may think after that incident. If the deal's sweet enough, wouldn't be opposed to them even trading him to the Yankees if the deal is good. TBH, if the Tribe makes the playoffs, I don't think anyone really fears facing Bauer.

yes, he has some talent, but his immaturity gets in the way...you just can't count on him

That is where I am. Bauer has been in the postseason before and pitched in big games. The tribe may need experience down the stretch. Bieber and Clevinger are pitching well, but will that hold up down the stretch? I'm not sure. Unless the Tribe gets a great offer for another solid pitcher, or bat, I would not trade him as he is needed over the next 2-3 months.

Seems like most everybody is on the same page about Bauer. Trade him only if it’s a great deal for the Tribe, not to just get rid of him.

Tito should start him in centerfield next game …….maybe he can gun down a few runners at the plate.

...he'd probably air mail it into the net behind the plate

Would be better than Mercado’s worm burners that roll to the plate. At least off the netting, we might get slingshot effect back to Perez.
