A great moment in baseball made even greater when hitting dingers during announcer "serious moments" became something that Nick started doing semi-regularly. Think he picked up 2-3 more "make announcer interrupt serious thing he was saying to call homer" moments since then.
You guys disappointed me today. Patrick Corbin has 17 losses, which means he has a great chance to lose 20 -- which would be the first time anyone has since 2001. And you lost to him, keeping him stuck on that number. I AM DISAPPOINT.
And in a blowout loss David Bell gets tossed with 2 outs and 2 strikes in the 9th
He sucks
My mom and dad went to Wednesday's game in Chicago, and my GF and I joined them for Thursday's day game. Thursday was UGLY and the first few innings were boring as crap. Friedl played awful, but they got the W, and he got a little redemption late. Center field bleachers were ruthless on him, and it was deserved. It's probably the first Reds W I've been able to witness in my last 5-6 times seeing them.
Going to the game tonight only because we have free club seats. I'm going to eat at least 2x my share of the free food.
Take that, Philbert.
Mike Minor is so bad at baseball. We’ve decided it’s already time to leave.

The hell did you eat?

Honestly it was pretty pathetic, and much less than I was hoping to eat. Two small slices of pizza, a mini gyro, a cheeseburger, and some pretzel bites.
The food was decent. The product on the field was awful.

Left bases loaded and a lot of runners on late…could’ve won
My food go is always the barbecue shedded pork on the steak fries out in the RF corner of stadium….but club you v probably didn’t get such a choice.

When I saw the pitching match-up was Bryse Wilson vs. Mike Minor, I didn't even have the desire to turn on the game for even a minute. You'd think with how both of these teams are going nowhere this year, they'd want to audition some (more) AAA arms or something and not trot out those two subpar retreads.
Luis Castillo gets a 5y/$108M extension from the Mariners.
That looks like a number the Reds could pretty easily afford if they wanted to. How well do you think Luis performs over the next 5 years?

Not too well if today is an indicator! After Amir Garrett made an appearance and gave up three runs to the Mariners from his inherited runners and 3 more earned runs of his own to end up giving the Mariners a 9 run lead entering the bottom of the 6th, Castillo gave up his 3rd, 4th and 5th earned runs on the day and the three relievers following Luis gave up 8 more runs to lose the lead in the 6th, eventually leading to the Mariners 13-12 loss today.

Jr.'s mom was pregnant with him at the time, so that probably had a lot to do with his decision to play baseball.
Woof. But where else are we going to go?
This is kinda amazing to me. Since the MLB season expanded to 162 games in 1962, the Cincinnati Reds have lost 90 or more games in 11 different seasons.

Six of those 11 have been under the Castellinis' ownership reign.
Reds sit at 60-99 with 3 games to go. They were just swept by the Cubs and play them again. I think 100 losses is inevitable. The only time they've ever lost 100+ was in 1982 with 101 losses. They have had worse winning percentages, but not many.
What a train wreck.
Reds held off 100 losses for another day. Now 61-99. Two more opportunities for peak futility.

You guys and my Pirates in a RACE for 4th! Two more games to avoid 100...or reach 101 for both teams!
