In 2016, when Allen threw for 3200 yards, 28 TD's and 15 INT's his completion percentage was 56%. In 2017, when he threw for 1800 yards, 16 TD's and 6 INT's his completion percentage was 56.3%....little to no difference. Dude is not accurate, as you mentioned.

I wasn't defending Weeden earlier because I know I whiffed on that pick and the dude is dog shit but he was light year's ahead of Allen coming out of college.

You want to see something there where you can say "yeah, this could be the guy" but other than size & arm strength (been there, done that with Weeden, DA & Kizer) there's nothing that jumps out at me where I'm saying "sprint to the podium and turn int he card at 1 for him."

Yup, his weaknesses far outweigh his strengths.

Found this on the Jets forum I read:

Not sure if this was already discussed in the thread or not.

I find this to be very unbelievable but if the picks end up being Mayfield & Chubb, I'll stand corrected. I will say that the Jets had not scheduled a meeting with Darnold be cause they were almost 100% sure the Browns were taking him. Now, the Jets have a meeting scheduled with Darnold.

This please.  I did a ctrl + F to see what was said about Allen and according to this guy he the Browns' 5th QB.  Fine by me if true.

It is always like this leading up to the draft...so much bullshit thrown around that you really gotta just go off your own gut feeling.

This. Especially since Dorsey basically locks himself away for the months leading up to the draft and doesn’t tell but a few people he trusts what the plans are. Everything that is coming out right now is just speculation by media people who need clicks.

Basically, the coaches really like Rosen, Dorsey and DePodesta really like Mayfield. There was mention that they might just take Chubb #1 and then QB @ 4. It could all be bullshit, no doubt, but it was an interesting enough read.

Again, he sucked in college. But he’s not being drafted for his college stats. He’s being drafted purely on potential.

Russell Wilson. I thought he would suck watching his final year at wis. He ended up winning a super bowl by year 2.

What is the biggest determining factor of success in the NFL? How you played in college? What the fuck are you even arguing here? LOL

With your argument, why not drat JT Barrett? He has potential too. Or Barkley at 1, have you seen his "potential"? WOW!

Basically saying that there is so much infighting and that everyone's playing "I'm the GM here" that everyone's on a different page as to what they want to do...so, as a compromise, they will take their #1 player on the board (Chubb) at #1 and the best QB available at #4 (Rosen/Mayfield). Stupid way of thinking, if true.

I may have read it wrong but it looked like Dorsey favored Mayfield at #1 over the others.

That piece also said that Rosen was the "clearcut" choice of Haley, Hue, Zampese & Al Saunders but Dorsey is trying to convince Haslam that Mayfield is the guy, due to metrics (with Depodesta's backing).

Well my posting history says I'll continue to be this way, however my potential for change is off the charts. If you need an agreeable poster, I'd say go ahead and draft me based on my potential.

Looks like we can get out of it after 2 yrs. Steep for him, but not my money and we have the cap space. Great, now he needs to fucking produce.
