As for non qbs that really intrigue me. I would absolutely love to grab Jaire Alexander. Would probably have to trade back up in the first but I think he could end up being better than ward

Same, if injury concerns weren't an issue he'd be CB1 for me.
I know the Browns have shown some interest in Central Arkansas CB Tremon Smith

If I had to handicap it right now ... I think the @browns qb pick at #1 will be: Darnold - 51% Mayfield -20% Rosen - 15% Allen -14%

Mayfield/Darnold make the most sense for the offense they will likely run. What I don't get...is Haley a WCO type guy?
posted by SportsAndLadyLink to where I said I’d be okay drafting Allen? Lol you won’t find it.
Now get back to your quinoa salad and stop talking about mayfield being the top QB just because you think he’s hot.
LMAO

Never answered this, but it's when the guarentees end
Every Friday, Jim Miller & Pat Kirwan do mock drafts on Sirius XM NFL Channel. The last 3 weeks they've had Josh Allen going #1 (think they're dead wrong on this) and either Chubb or Barkley at 4. What I thought was interesting today (not Browns related) was they had the Giants trading down to 6 and the Colts moving up to draft Mayfield at 2, Darnold went 3 (Jets) and Rosen dropped almost out of the top 10 (Dolphins in a trade up).
They keep talking about it not being a forgone conclusion that Andrew Luck makes it back. He still has not thrown a football in his rehab.
Sounds like they're bored.

Chubb at 64 would be a steal. But I highly doubt he’s there with that pick.
Completely off topic but I was surprised this morning to see that Mike Mayock had actually played in the NFL for 2-3 seasons. Was the first I'd heard of it. Thought he was one of those pencil necked geeks like John Clayton.

I love this draft. I would be pretty happy if this happened.

I thought the same thing. What position did he play?

Mayock was a DB and actually started with the Steelers, had a cup of coffee in the CFL, then finished his career with the Giants (I believe).
If they get Darnold and Chubb they can just trade the rest of the picks for a few casino chips and I’ll call it a successful draft. That’s been my ideal/dream scenario since like week 6 of the college season.

They need to get two more starters with those high 2nd rounders (33 & 35) for me to consider it a success. With the #1 QB sitting for most of the year, I need to see three day 1 starters, out of the top 35 picks, for it to be a win.
I'd be very happy with that draft. If for nothing else than the lack of idiotic picks like Allen/Barkley.

Those are definitely the 5 positions I want to see addressed with our 1st and 2nd round picks.
Side note - Any idea if NFL schedule will be released this week? I know it historically is released the week before the draft.
