No surprise here but worth noting so we can stop planning for the possibility of us getting him: Cousins released 4 teams he’s down to and the browns are not one of them.
posted by BR1986FBBarkley runs a 4.41, 41 inch vertical and 29 reps on the bench. Those numbers don't say the Browns have to take him high but someone will.
I don't understand this post at all. Those numbers are ridiculous lol everything I'm reading is saying he was really impressive at the combine.

I told all you guys this would happen. /sleeper
I'm OK being in the minority on this, but I would take him at #1

Not me. Best QB in the draft at 1, then BPA at 4.
After watching some of the combine, feel free to roast me, but I wouldn’t be against Barkley at 1 and Jackson at 4.
Y’all are killing me. The combine is great for getting legit speeds and height/weight/hand size, the rest is bullshit. There are at least 2 years of film on everyone that is much more important.
I know I know. But when you think about the value he’d bring and he won’t be there at 4. He’s a Leveon Bell type who’s going to give your production both in the run and pass game. He’s not your typical RB. He’s more valuable at his position over other rb’s than any of the qb’s are you can get at 4.
Someone on Twitter asked Grossi what he thought of the QB workouts, to which he responded he didn't see them because he left. He then went on to block several people criticizing him.

Sounds like Rosen & Allen were the ones who wowed everyone but Jackson was good too. Hearing Darnold not throwing may have made him drop.

Nope. Scouts don’t care about the media.

...and no way Barkley will be there at 4, so Allen/Rosen & Fitzpatrick would be excellent first rounders

ANd you actually believe that? You think Darnold will drop because he didn’t throw at the combine?

Minimizing the impressiveness of those numbers. He is a monster and he wowed everyone at the combine. But then I get on here and you say his numbers didn’t scream “top 4 pick”?
I’d also be ok with qb 1/ Chubb at 4. Will be interesting if Colts stay at 3 or not

Who was minimizing his numbers? What I was saying was that just because he put up those numbers, it doesn't mean the Browns need to take him high but someone will. Using a top 4 pick on a RB, especially considering who the head coach is and how he uses, or in Hue's case, DOESN'T use a RB, would be a wasted/luxury pick.

If he was being considered for the #1 overall pick while others decided to throw? Maybe. Not saying he's drop to the 2nd round but he could slip a few spots (still top 6).

Those numbers prove what we already knew—he’s a physical freak. I’m not necessarily screaming for him to be a Brown, but if he’s there at 4, we’ve got our QB at 1, and our FO have him as the BPA, he should be the pick. A player like Barkley, who is explosive as a RB, WR , and KR, is so important in today’s NFL. If we can lock up someone like that, who the hell would be pissed about that?
