Well ward certaintly made his case for being the number 4 pick. I would be completely happy with Fitzpatrick or ward at 4

Speaking of Ward, I was looking at one of those "free agent destinations that make most sense" articles and they had TJ Ward returning to the Browns. Thoughts on this?

Nah, he's not a good player anymore. And we have some solid SS on our team already.

Coudlve sworn Ward hates Cleveland anyway.  I don't think he was too thrilled how they let him go.

Why has Cleveland failed so miserably to pump in new blood for sports reporting?

Most of the talent jumped to the Athletic. Stuck behind a paywall, they go unnoticed.

Not only that but they get pissy if a front office exec won't give them some "inside information." These clowns go to pre-draft press conferences thinking guys like Dorsey are going to let them in on some little secret on what his plans are for free agency/draft and when they get "spin" from the GM, essentially telling them nothing, they act like bitches.

Yup. the reason I hate on MKC and Grossi more than others is bc my buddy has also told me stories of them reaching out to him begging for "sources". They are bums and have 0 insight into the actual front office. I can't believe 92.3 actually puts her on the air. Losers

I can't stand either of them. Grossi is just bitter and MKC is clueless. I may have told this story but a few years ago the Browns were having Solomon Wilcots do their preseason games and I think it was 92.3 who had him on to discuss the Browns and they get on the topic of the Cleveland media.

Wilcots proceeds to say "Cleveland has some highly respected media/reporters like Mary Kay Cabot." First, I laughed because he thought she had cred, but the funnier part was that he pronounced her name "Ka-bow" instead of "Cab-bit" like it was some kind of fancy French shit or something. If she's so "highly regarded" why the Hell don't you know her name? lol

Pretty sure the next ThomaHawk podcast is tomorrow (Wednesday). With free agency being a week from tomorrow, I'd expect Joe Thomas to give some idea as to what direction he plans to go this season so the Browns can act according in FA.

On a side note, JT recently auditioned with Fox Sports to be one of their broadcasters so it looks like he'll keep us guessing until he puts out official word..

Penn State's class is extremely athletic. And Orlando Brown may have worked himself out  of Day 2. a - SPARQ score and a 0 NFL %.

Not that history is guaranteed to repeat itself but, for those banging the drum for Barkley with a top 4 pick, in John Dorsey's history of drafting, he's never taken a RB in the 1st round. Heard this on my drive home.

Probably has been mentioned on here a couple of times but I'm hearing more & more about the idea of taking Barkley at #1 and trading back up to #2 with the NYG's for the QB.

Dumb af. FWIW (nothing), my scout buddy said he doesn’t think Barkley would be the pick at 1.

I seriously doubt a RB goes #1 overall but just regurgitating stuff I've heard.

On a side note, I know that mocks really don't mean shit but I saw one yesterday where Josh Allen fell to Pittsburgh. Would be a Browns fans luck for him to drop to them and end up being the next Roethlisberger.

If teams truly believe he is a first round talent, there is 0 chance he would drop to the Steelers.  Some team at the very worst would trade up.

Yeah, I don't know about that. Teams may think he's a 2nd round talent and the Steelers take a flyer on him late in the 1st. Can't be much worse than Landry Jones.

To show how different these guys (mockers) are, just saw one where Allen goes #1 overall to the Broncos who trade Aqib Talib and a ton of picks for #1 overall. Browns select Barkley at 4 & Mayfield at 5.

My friend sent me a mock the other day that had the Browns selecting Barkley at 1 and then Darnold at 4.  Apparently this dude actually thinks the first three picks won't be a QB.
