I have 6-10 if Tyrod is the starter, 8-8 if Mayfield ends up coming in by week 3.

Top 8 defense.

Garrett with 15 sacks.

Landry's streak of 100 catches/1000 yards ends (don't think he will get the catches).

Carlos Hyde/Nick Chubb go for 2000+ & 15 TD's combined.

-I will go with 4 wins and we start the season winless in September.

-Hue will be fired as he should have been last year.

-Baker plays by week 12.

If they lose to the Jets, Hue should be fired immediately after. Looking at the schedule, I see the Jets as only SHOULD win before the Bye, and they might be able to get another win or two so I'll go Hue out by bye week, and I'd take the under 5.5 and think they'll win 5 games. Baker will start sooner than later due to Tyrod injury.

I have a wager with my SIL than we win at least five, so I'll say 6-10

  • 6-10
  • fans get frustrated with Tyrod's lack of deep ball passing
  • Baker starts at least 8 games
  • Gordon is a disappointment (probably gets suspended again, <700 yds on the season)
  • We beat the steelers week 1
  • Hue is fired at the end of the season
  • We're horrible on 3rd down offense as Hailey continues to be too cute on short yardage
  • Duke finishes the season as our leader in receptions
  • Garrett gets 12 sacks

I agree with a lot of this, especially the part about Tyrod. Also agree that Gordon won't put up the gaudy numbers that might be expected but I wouldn't have an issue with those numbers if Landry is putting up over 1000.

Callway starting, Bitonio at LT, and BBC at backup Safety stood out to me.

I was kind of expecting Desmond Harrison to start at LT. Callaway is no surprise to me. This could be one of those deals where Gordon doesn't start but he's on the field the first series if it's 3rd & long.

It's killing me to say this but Grossi, as of late, has gotten much better. He's not coming across like the bitter bitch that should've been Mike Lombardi's siamese twin separated at birth. I agree with these takes:

I think some of you guys saying baker will play will be pleasantly surprised at how tyrod looks this year. I think he’s a good QB that never had weapons worth a shit in buffalo. He’s got those in Cleveland and a decent OC. I think if everyone stays healthy, he’ll be a top 15 QB this year. Not saying he’s amazing but I watched every buffal game last year because I had him and McCoy on my fantasy team and tyrod is a solid QB. Guy just needs weapons and to stay healthy.

I don't agree here. Knock on the dude is that he's a check down artist and settles for FG's. He's safe with the ball but he's going to leave a lot of points on the field. I don't expect him to come out stretching the field. If he does, he's morphed into a new QB.

Tough to stretch the field if your WRs can’t get open. He’s not checking down because he can’t throw. He’s checking down because his #1 wideout was trash Sammy Watkins.

He's not accurate throwing deep(er) balls.

No worries, you're entitled to it. Just saying I don't see this leopard suddenly changing his spots.

If he can produce one TD pass per game, which is about his career average, and the running game can produce 2 TD's (that's saying a lot), they will win a lot of games.

Earlier I put the over/under for the defense at 20 points. If they can hold their opponents under that I think they can win quite a few. Unfortunately, I think this offense, contrary to Jarvis Landry's belief, is going to average about 17 ppg.
