Do you think Darnold's going to be their QB this year?

I'm not sure what the plan is. Rumors are they're looking to trade same and take Wilson at #2, but who knows. I'm fine with Sam getting one more year now that Gase is gone, but he's definitely on a short leash.

I'd think the WFT would be a good spot for him but they just signed Fitzmagic.

Is Darnold a top 40 QB?

He's easily top 35 in the league.

The more I think about it, the more I like Trubisky to Buffalo.

This is a smart move. Bills GM said "he won't be here long" assuming Trubisky was coming in to have Daboll fix his mechanics like he did with Allen to resurrect his career.

He was ranked dead last in some of those QB rankings

Of the 32 guys who started the most games for their teams last year, Darnold is definitely in the top 35.

Did any team have 2 guys start the same amount of games? You might have to retract that statement if yea!

For you Yinzers, gum flappin' Juju takes a hometown discount, spurning the Ravens, on a 1 year deal to stay in Pittsburgh.

Guess he really does love Pittsburghs. In this day, and his age, can't fucking believe he took less.

Probably smart on his part whether he wants to stay there long term or not. I think a lot of these players are taking one year deals knowing the cap's going to spike next year and they will get paid.

Eh.

Speculations on  just how solid the supposed other "better" offers he received.    Most believe he was not being offered anything close to what he was wanting, hoping and wishing for and limped back the steelers.

He is a solid receiver but nowhere near the star he believes himself to be.   He will do fine next year, try to leverage it into a huge contact elsewhere for 22 and beyond.

Kid can take his marketability and stick it up his ass.

Hue Jackson...saying the Browns lied to him.....

Think anyone cares what he has to say at this point?   Browns are well on their way and by him coming out now makes him sound like a whiney loser bitch!

How the tides have turned. IF the browns were still bad and this comes out I think many pile on the organization, but now.....nah, looks bad on you Hue!

I doubt that Baltimore does this with the running back that occasionally throws but it's an interesting concept and could see it eventually happening with analytics driven teams....

I wonder how the Bengals will approach it with Burrow. They’re not analytics-driven, nor do they like to spend money, or even that smart about anything in general. The sky’s the limit.

DK Metcalf clocked a 10.37 and was last in his Olympic qualifying heat of the 100 meter....though didn’t look like the 8 ahead of him beat him by more than a stride.

Impressive with minimal training...he has a track background but it’s not his career like it is for his competitors.

I still think Tyreke could run with them the entire way.

Have looked for years to find the race back in the day with Carl Lewis, Leroy Burrell, Darrel Green and Rod Woodson. Lewis was gold medalist, Burrell silver I believe and Green was dead even with Burrell and Woodson a step behind them. Lewis edged them.

Some analyst predicted that.  I think he said Metcalf wouldn't break 10.3.

Maybe he had a bad run.  And maybe with a lot of training and work on technique, maybe [doubtful] he could run a sub-10.0.  But he'd still get smoked by the elite guys.

It's apples-to-oranges, but Usain Bolt hit 30 mph on his record run, and usually the fastest speed recorded in the NFL is around 22 mph.

Bolt isn’t hitting 30 on grass or turf with all that equipment on
