Holy hell this game
Gruden 3rd down play call was asinine. Good God. How do you not spread it out on 2nd and 3rd down?
posted by Ironman92That set and play to the short side of the field.
This truly deserves a tie
Crazy this Raiders team beat the Chiefs snd nearly did it 2x
Raiders got hit by Covid hard. They keep having 1-2 players test postive and limited practices bc of it

They aren’t though.

Love that my locals are showing Jags vs Ravens and Skins vs Seahawks....the worst games being played right now
man, I hope Justin doesn't kill this thread, or the board!
Can’t believe they might screw up Lawrence. Good sign that they haven’t given up I guess.

The only thing that could make it worse is taking Justin Fields.....gotta be careful I don't get myself banned :)
The Jets are great at winning meaningless December games and screwing up their draft position.
Aren’t Jets still #1 due to worse conference record?
Jags are #1 if they both lose out.
Justin - how would you feel about Fields?

Strength of schedule is tiebreaker for draft order.

Reverse SOS, to be complete accurate. Lol.

Just thought it went opposite to playoff standing/tie breaks
Could Jets believe saying screw #1 since Lawerence won’t play for them?
Just for curiosity, I skipped the last three #1 choices as "too soon to tell" and rated the previous 20 on a ten point scale. My average was 5.6.
Lawrence might be in Canton someday. Lawrence might need a ticket to attend an NFL game in three years. Most likely outcome is a decent but not great football player.

This is an accurate thought process. However, the contrary take is there have been 3 consensus #1 since they were freshman in college. Peyton, Luck and Lawrence. All-Timer, likely would’ve been HOFer (and maybe SB Champion if didn’t retire). So the track record for THAT type of prospect is a bit different.
Something is up and it has to be Ben. I’ve bitched about the play calling of the Steelers OC’s forever...but I’ve always been happy with Randy Fichtner his first two years and until about 5-6 games ago....now the play calls seem asinine. I know our backs aren’t good and Connor out yet again.....but it has to be Ben, who also isn’t hitting the passes either. He looked top 5 for a while and now looks like he has little business starting
Ben is 2/8 for 2 yards but those stats are better than he looks.
He looks 100% lost. Like he has zero experience and no ability to understand the defense. I don’t think he’s look worse if he was concussed. It’s baffling.
I’d bench him. I’m serious.
I’m actually unhappy Haden is back. He gets toasted way too often. IMO the 4th best CB on the team
