Surprised it was already in the paper.

posted by Laley23This is an accurate thought process. However, the contrary take is there have been 3 consensus #1 since they were freshman in college. Peyton, Luck and Lawrence. All-Timer, likely would’ve been HOFer (and maybe SB Champion if didn’t retire). So the track record for THAT type of prospect is a bit different.
You also make a valid point. OTOH, saw a tweet that points out that none of the starting QBs for the eight current division leaders were drafted in the top 5.
I’ve watched 12 of the a Steelers games, this is the 5th Saints game I’ve watched with Brees, have watched Brady and the Bucs 5x and have watched Rivers and the Colts 4x
I don’t see any of those teams getting more than 1 playoff win as their QB’s will throw interceptions and give away the big game (this year)...I guess the other playoff QB’s (sans Rodgers no Mahomes) might do the same....but I’ve watched all 4 of the HOFers throw a lot of terrible passes this year, compared to their primes.
My son is in the Fantasy Finals....Kamara doing ok

As the old saying goes, "Father Time always wins."
The thing with Rodgers (still) and Mahomes is that they might be able to get away with those type of mistakes and counter with 2-3 more TD's. Like they are a cheat code.
The other QB's you mentioned have little margin for error. Brees & Brady have looked human this year, and part of last. Rivers looked done last year but has hooked on with a balanced team. Roethlisberger obviously didn't play, started out solid earlier and has been on a downward spiral as of late.

If Kamara is going to be like that then Brees can throw 2-3 picks lol
Brady sharp early on
Lions should be fined for the effort put forth today

I'm in my fantasy finals. Thankfully the guy with Kamara lost in the other Semi last week.
Oh good....49ers/Cards on Prime video
Love turning on the tv and it means nothing anymore. Gotta have Dish, fire stick, YouTube tv, prime video and everything else now to watch about 15 stations....or you can have any one and miss a 1/3 of the stuff you want to watch.
Anyone else streaming this game? The livestream I am getting from Prime is basically a 1978 picture that is hazy and fuzzy as hell because the antenna needs turned.
I assume everyone’s isn’t that bad or people from Prime are going to get fired. It’s virtually unwatchable.

They were missing a few coaches and defensive players due to the 'rona, weren't they? Apparently the Lions aren't big-time enough for the NFL for alter their schedule for them. Which really shouldn't surprise anyone not named Classy, to be truthful. They're one of a handful of franchises in the league that I can legit see the NFL saying, "Dude, you can either show up and take your L or you can forfeit and then get fined and lose some draft picks for fucking with our TV arrangements -- it really doesn't matter to us..." to.
