It was inevitable, so not sure why its a surprise. Just have to see how the league deals with it and if the protocols they have in place actually work out.

It’s the MLB, so it’ll probably get fucked up

It would truly be a shame if the season got ended because of an incident involving the #1 "Should Be Contracted" team in the league.

I'm curious to know how many of them contracted it outside the team, maybe at a bar/restaurant or other get together.  Or if someone forgot to test a flight attendant!

That many cases, though, seems unlikely there wasn't transmission within the team.  I didn't think if you were testing 3X a week that it should be able to spread, as it takes 2-7 days after infection to start spreading it.

I can't believe the players couldn't quarantine bubble like the NBA for a 60 game schedule.  You could have built in a few days off here and there so they could see their family.

This reinforces my opinion that college football is not going to be workable this year.

Kluber leaves game after one inning.

Edit: tightness in shoulder

Muscle tear in shoulder, OUT for 4 weeks then reevaluation.

Even if he recovers in 4 weeks (he wont, based on his ever expanding timeframes with Cleveland), he will have to go through quite a bit of throwing programs without a minor league rehab starts available. My guess, if he throws this year, its out of the pen.

Agreed.

Bummer for Kluber.

Not sure why it’s blurry, but whatever.

So obviously fuck the Astros. Getting that out there. But I do not agree with throwing 95 mph fastballs at their heads. Someone’s gonna fucking die.

Agreed. Hit them in the ass if you want to throw at them. That ball at Correa's head was pretty scary.

I don’t condone hitting anyone in the head either, not sure he could have even hit anything he was aiming. I was more talking about the faces he was making and the players telling each other to F off.

My comment wasn’t directed to you specifically.  I loved his faces too, shit cracked me up. I’m all good with 70 mph breaking balls at Astros players asses. But 100mph fastballs at their heads is dangerous and they don’t deserve that

Hopefully Dusty doesn’t die during all of this. It’ll stress him.

Dusty may have started all that anyway. Yelling at Kelly and calling him names.

I’m honestly not sure the Correa one was even intentional. Looked like a slider gone wrong. It was 87 MPH and had wild spin coming out of his hand.

The bregman one is the one I’m talking about

Also what did baker yell? I didn’t hear that. I saw his quote after the game that said Correa was mad because when he struck out, Kelly yelled “nice swing bitch”

Regardless....I don’t want this season killing Dusty. I didn’t like him as a manager and really never have, but he’s a good dude that loves the game.

I read that after one pitch, someone who may have been Dusty yelled something along the lines of "Get the fuck back on the mound" to Kelly.
