Goodbye and good riddance to St. Louis. My only regret is that the elimination didn't happen sooner.

Yankees have trouble with another rundown play and let Astros have 2nd and 3rd again with one out.  Pitcher started well with the play but got impatient and threw it too quickly and let the runner get away from 3rd!

But the Astros return the favor and don't get the runner in from 3rd.

Greinke refuses to give in with bases loaded, 1 out 3-0 count....cost him 1 run but likely saved him 3-4.

He looks like a villain in the Die Hard series

Took Greinke out for a guy who has 1 2/3 innings this postseason and 9 hits

Smart

In a bid to win the ALC in NY, the Astros score in the first to take the lead, but Verlander gives up a 4 spot on two HRs in the bottom of the first and Verlander gets a "blown win" loss even though he put up zeroes in each of the next 7 innings, throwing 105 pitches.  Unlike the NBA, baseball game winning plays can happen in the first half hour of play.

Dont understand throwing Verlander on short rest when it wasn’t needed.

Both starting pitchers were on normal rest from their last starts in game 2 last Sunday, a 3-2, 11 inning game.  Cole would be on normal rest also if it gets to game 7 tomorrow night.

An uncommon number of 3 run HRs in this series!

Incredible 2nd baseman DJ LeMahieu just Votto’s that stretch on the bunt hit. Yes, you have to set up that way to give the catcher an angle but once thrown you have to step and stretch towards the throw....see if it costs them

Chapman lost command of his fastball and Altuve was ready for the high slider!

Failed bunt ruins the top of the first when the Nats were trying to get on the board first and had Turner on 2nd with no out and Eaton pops it up, making Rendon have to get a hit to knock the first run in, which he doesn't, and Soto Ks. And Cole earns his first zero.
