Tiger was+4 after two holes and seemed to have leveled out but he double bogied the 13th and is +6 now. He is still having putting problems. He 4 putted the 13th.

So what’s going to win it? Do they take it easy on them some Saturday and see some negative scores? As is I think about +3 would win it over 4 days.

I’ll guess tomorrow is similar but slightly better scoring, Saturday best day and Sunday similar to Friday

-2 wins it but I not 4 players better than +1

Johnson, Rose, Oosthuizen and Sergio

Lol it wasn’t cut. But I do wonder if I’d keep it around a hundred. I think the distance is what would eat any of us up, 7400 yards is disgusting especially in wind. Would be a lot of hybrids and fairway woods

You wouldn't. The best golfers in the fucking world just struggled to break 80. The length...how about the greens. I would be surprised if anyone on here didnt 3-putt every green.

I’m confident I wouldn’t 3 putt every green

I'm an average golfer (shoot in the 90s) and I would shoot a 165 on that course.

I’m a good golfer and would guess I would go around 120, but hard to say. The Par 4’s I would rarely ever reach, spend 1/3 of my round chipping out of the fescue, hit some sand shots across the green and have some chips that don’t stay on the green. A lot of 3 putts and some 4 putts. I think about a +90 and just miss the cut

Phil hit 13 out of 14 fairways and was 7 over.... And you wonder if you'd keep it around 100?

I'll shoot high 90's today at Oak Tree in Edmond OK. (where they did the '88 PGA championship). With the rough the way it is at Shinnecock, I'd be ball in hand on 16 fucking holes. Easily 150+

Sergio going by the wayside today:  +6 thru 10 holes; +11 for the tourney.

Walking with the Tiger group yesterday, trudging through the unruly fescue, I don't think I've ever seen more oppressive rough anywhere. A solid bogey golfer couldn't legitimately break 130 on this course from the championship tees, with or without the wind.
