At some point, I'd love to hear someone ask these kids what they think should be done.  Sounds like they think the law should prevent citizens AND police from owning guns, if they have their way.

Also sounds like they don't get how laws ... or the black market ... work.

But wait!  There was the one fair-skinned girl who apparently has a Cuban heritage.

I wish the Australia meme would die already. There are more guns in Australia now than there were before the buyback. Only around 20% of the guns in the country were actually turned in initially. Their violent crime rate was already trending down, and it continued to follow the downward trend that was happening across the globe, so it likely had nothing to do with the buyback. Also, no gun violence does not mean no violence. Look at the UK and their outbreak of knife crime. Also, they're having a nice little bout of gun violence right now.

Basically, facebook is cancer and Tai is ignorant.

High school students shouldn't be influencing legislation.

Yeah, she ran out of gas on the back stretch and hit the wall coming into the final turn.  Getting ready to work a track meet this afternoon, and I can only think in running metaphors right now.

Thanks.  Yes, it'll be a brisk and raw afternoon, but I'll be in a nice, warm, dry pressbox with a baseboard heater behind me, and a portable ceramic heater at my feet!  I feel bad for the officials and volunteers working out in that weather, though.

Curious as to who is manufacturing assault weapons, since they aren't legal? This literally does nothing. Let's all remember that more people die from hands and feet each year than rifles.

Well, he fled the scene.  It's not like someone incapacitated the van.

Did think it was interesting that the Waffle House shooter was stopped by a guy without a gun.  Apparently, AR-15s don't make people completely impervious after all.

It’s hilarious seeing the talking heads shift from “how dare anyone with a pistol go up against an AR” to “lol good guy without a gun”. 0 consistency

He was also known by police and had his AR taken from them, and then given back to his dad. I imagine his dad will be going to jail as well
