Those who have received, did you file 2019 yet?

I filed basically as soon as I got my forms for everything, so like first week or so of February. I have not received my “check” yet.

They will probably never reveal the reasoning behind who gets theirs when. Other than checks being mailed after the direct deposits are done.

I’m pretty sure they did reveal it. Now whether it actually happens that way who knows. But they said everyone who has direct deposit on file will receive theirs this week. Then social security recipients. Then they’ll physically mail about 5 million checks a week to those without direct deposit which will take about 2-3 months.

True. What I meant is why some people receive theirs in the first set of deposits versus receiving it later. Like is it based on when people filed? Or just random? Or alphabetically?

I’d guess random. They just aren’t going to overwhelm the system and do them all on one day. 33% will go out Wednesday, 33% Thursday, 34% Friday. Thats my guess, based off listening to the briefings from Kudlow on this.

Mine just hit my account last night. I always file early February to get it over with.

I check my account regularly, didn't receive anything as of last night. Tried this morning, technical issues with my online/mobile banking. Hopefully that means the money is there!

Can't find it now but I read somewhere last week that the physical checks would be going out by income level. The highest income eligible would get theirs last.

You can go on the IRS website and check how and when you’ll get yours.

That makes sense since those are probably done manually so they need a starting point.

This is the payment checker website. Although I’ve heard it’s not working for some people.
