Detroit
New York
Napoletana
Detroit style and "Ohio Valley" style are my all time favs, don't give a F what New Yorkers say.
I've had New Haven style pizza a few times. It's fantastic, but not making my top 3.

Also pic 1 is doing a disservice to Roman pizza.

Im not very worldly lol. Any pizza type with ample sauce, not too much cheese, quality toppings of choice and baked properly....I’m for it. I like my pizza a smidge more done than most and less cheese than most.

Love New York and Detroit style.
Never had Roma style I don’t think? When in Rome, we had pizza, but not sure that was it lol.

- Chicago deep dish is the caboose, and it’s been disconnected from the rest of the train.

All pizza in Italy is Napolitano, except Rome. There are two types in Rome. One where you can go to a bakery and it's foccaia style (first pic). You get it by the grams. The other you get a pizzerias and the crust is thin (second photo from my favorite pizza in the world). Both are delicious, but I lean toward the second photo when I think about Roman pizza.
Which category does Papa John's fit in? That's my favorite.
Lol. Ugh. I hate keeping track of the "official" names of pizza types. I just like local places, with the spicy old-world pepperoni, and crusts that have a bit (but not too much) density in them, and great flavor in the sauce.
If I have to choose one of the list, I'd go with Napolitano. Natalie's Coal-Fired Pizza in Columbus makes a great Trevi Fountain pie, that's my favorite there, along with seeing great music.

ok yeah, I’ve had second picture in Rome. Move that over Detroit for me, 3rd place.
