We have to keep the war going, the dems want it to actually be worse then it is.

Why? And what should we do instead?

Why should we? And anything else. We’re kinda in an economic crisis.

And an inflation crisis
And a labor crisis
And a border crisis
And a crime crisis
And a drug crisis

Ok,..and?
Under that logic we would not have funded the Afghans in 1979 when the Soviets invaded.

Which we never should have done.

That's a narrow view of history.
The correct answer is we should have assisted the Afghans after the Soviet Union withdrew.
Aiding them hastened the fall of the Soviet Union, along with a number of other issues.

It also led to 9/11 and thousands of dead Americans. Why are you neolibs always in favor of sending other people's kids to die?

It was not our initial involvement that led to 9/11, it was our complete abandonment after 1991 of the Afghans. There, the Mujahideen were able to win the Civil War.
The great book Ghost Wars goes into all of that.
I'm leaving a softball over the plate here for a Biden criticism.....as in time will tell if our withdraw last year will have similar ramifications.

Why won't you answer my question?

It's neocons not neolibs that are in favor of direct military force. Also, funds are not sending direct Americans over. You are mixing a lot into a confusing mess.
Direct military aid to Ukraine or the Afghans is not the same as sending kids to a foreign land.

This logic makes more sense why the "pacifist" liberals went into hiding when Obama droned the middle east.
So French media are claiming that Putin has a bodyguard that follows him around, collecting his shit, so nobody can get a read on the state of his health.
You got a briefcase carrying nuke launch codes and another containing Putin's shit, what could go wrong?
On a serious note you have a war in Europe that in a little over 3 months will soon be approaching 100,000 dead. Buckle up.
Funny how nobody cares anymore because our government is just going to let it happen. Biden is compromised
posted by ptown_trojans_1If the Russian losses are that high, even more than Afghanistan, there will be protests in the streets. Putin can't hide from that for long.
The casualties in Afghanistan led to several reforms by Gorbachev. It eventually led to the fall of the Soviets.
Credible estimates of Russian casualties (dead/wounded/captured) are now in the 70-80,000 range. It's clear we are in a different time. The Russian people are nearly all in.
The Nord Stream pipeline now the Kerch Bridge. Direct confrontation is closing in.
