Just started The Punisher.  Loved the movie The Accountant, and it introduced me to an impressive Jon Bernthal, so when I saw he was the star of this, it went on my must-watch list, which I'm finally getting around to.

I'm only just into the second episode, but the first one set the tone really well.

Don’t get too attached or expect a nice tidy ending. Netflix abruptly had to cancel all their Marvel shows because Disney Plus and Marvel have a new deal. Not shockingly, Disney did not want competition, and forced Netflix (via Marvel) to end all production without much warning.

Daredevil at least had some warning based on timing. But Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Punisher not so much. Punisher got 2 seasons.

I couldn’t get into it, but my friend with very similar taste loved it.

Couldn't really get into it either. Started watching Gotham instead. Pretty good so far.

It’s one of my favorite cop shows. Helps to have a few crossover actors from The Wire. Never knew it was a series until I googled a spot in LA during S3 of the show and found out it was based on the books.

Yeah, I noticed.  I was kind of expecting a messy ending, given that I've already finished Luke Cage, which I liked and was bummed to see cancelled.  I haven't watched Daredevil (probably a result of being jaded after that piss-poor movie).

I really hope Bernthal gets a good line of well-publicized work going forward.  I mean, I've only seen him in two things, and both were action roles, but the characters themselves were pretty different, and he did them both really well.

Daredevil is the best series of the Netflix Marvel ones, imo. You should watch. Jessica Jones had the best individual season/villain (S1).

Daredevil is really good, and Jon Bernthal is in some of the episodes. He's also going to be in Ford v Ferrari this fall, which stars Matt Damon and Christian Bale.

You've probably seen him in more than two things and just didn't realize it, though.

Well, I'll definitely have to check out Daredevil, then.

And I loved the villain in season 1 of Jessica Jones.  I didn't get very far into season 2, though.  Just didn't grab me like season 1 did.

I'm sure I probably have.  The Accountant was the first time I'd seen him in a role where he got to stand out, though.  I'm sure I'll go back and watch something at some point that has him in it and go, "Whoa! That's Jon Bernthal!  I didn't realize he was in this."

The Walking Dead ceased to exist once they killed off Bernthal.

Breezed through “Basketball or nothing” on Netflix. The NBA might be shifting towards superstar duos but Chinle still had Angelo Lewis, Josiah Tsose, and Cooper Burbank!

....too bad no one will get that reference.

About at the end of Season 3 of Star Trek: Enterprise (second time watching it through) and I have come to realize that it is probably the best Star Trek series as it actually has a plot arc rather than just single episodes.  Only really Voyager did the same/similar thing but their "arc" was mainly to get home.

It's a shame that Enterprise was cut short at 4 seasons (main reason I read/heard back then was low ratings due to baseball shifting the time slot a few times).

The Next Generation was my favorite forever and I only watched the first season of Enterprise when it was airing (was on UPN, not even sure what channel that is/was, and I believe it was before DVR). I also never watched Voyager until sometime last year.

Now I would rate them:

Enterprise

Voyager

Discovery

TNG

Deep Space 9

Original

I am sure I am missing a series in there somewhere but those are the ones I have watched from beginning to end.

Watching Dave Chappelle's Sticks & Stones on Netflix. Offensive. Hilarious.

Thank God for Dave Chappelle.
