Oh yeah, Nosedive also one of the best.

I like shows that make you think after you watch, and both did that for me.

This, and speaking of Nosedive I went down the rabbit hole reading about it and found out that China is actually implementing a similar system.

That is fucked up.

I remember reading about that a few years ago.

My friend taught English in Guangzhou and when he came back he let me mess around with his Chinese knockoff iPhone. WeChat is crazy. It's literally "one app to rule them all."

Dark is up there with my all time favorite shows, even though it’s just one season. Breaking Bad/The Wire/GoT and then Dark and a few other shows. I absolutely loved it.

I realized last night, I am watching FX pretty much 4 out of the 7 nights.

Sunday: Trust, Tuesday: Legion,  Wednesday: the Americans, Thursday: Atlanta.

Atlanta has been amazing this season.

Also, watching new season of Billions, and the Terror on AMC

I watched the first two episodes of Wild Wild Country last night. I'm liking it.

I might have to try this again.  I watched the first 4-5 shows, and it's not that it wasn't good I just couldn't get into it.

I don't know how some of you re-watch a series multiple times.  There are some movies I watch more than once, but for the most part I can't sit through something again unless it's been a really long time.

Don't laugh, but I made it halfway thru re-watching Friends.  Seinfeld I've probably seen every episode 3+ times because of re-runs.  And I used to watch The Shield back-to-back when it aired.  That's about it for me.  Someday I might re-watch Sopranos.  And maybe 12 Monkeys, because it's so mind-blowingly good and it's pretty hard to wrap your head around all the time travel stuff.

Lots of shows are better on the re-watch. You pick up a lot more.

Have any of you Dark fans watched 12 Monkeys on Scify?   Because about 7-8 shows in, I realized Dark is just a lesser, German version of 12 Monkeys.  There are so many, many similarities to the point Dark almost looks like a rip-off (but it's not exactly an uncommon or unique theme wrt science fiction).

Don't get me wrong, it's pretty good.....just curious what people think who have watched both.

I haven't watched 12 Monkeys (probably will now), but Dark is incredible. My guess is Dark is better.

My guess is Dark is better.

It will be interesting to see if that opinion changes.  The pilot is underwhelming, but I was hooked after the 3rd-4th show.

I hate to build it up, because that always seems to lead to let-down....but if you think Dark is incredible, 12 Monkeys will blow your mind.  I'll leave it at that.

Other than maybe being heavier on causality and sci-fy turning some people off, I highly doubt any fan of Dark will be disappointed with 12 Monkeys.

I only say Dark will be better because of how you typically rate things.

5/10, would not bang.

Mmmmkay.....and I usually end-up being right, it just takes the slower folks around here a bit longer to catch up.

About midway through the third season on my Tales from the Crypt DVD collection. Sort of a weird thing where I really liked a lot of episodes when they were first-runs on HBO, but a lot harder to consistently enjoy now. Some are really good, some drag and some are too goofy to really get into. Of course, part of that might be that I'm in the stretch where I saw about every single episode (seasons 2-4, mainly), so it might be just that they don't hold up so well under multiple watches because they don't have the big, complicated, deep plotlines that the truly great shows have that make them rewarding to see multiple times.

Anyone watch Schitt's Creek with Eugene Levy and Catherine O'hara on Netflix? It's pretty funny if you're looking for a good comedy.
