Have a “friend” on Facebook who posted his conspiracy theory on this situation. It’s pure gold. Basically, the Democrats staged all of this. 
And he brings up that point over and over about how they knew each other from the nightclub.

It was very long. Antifa was mentioned but the general gist of it was “dems are creating a Marxist society where everyone relies on the government to protect them” and then “don’t you think it’s odd that Russia hoax and impeachment failed so coronavirus came about? And then coronavirus failed so now this George Floyd incident came about? Isn’t it odd that the cities that have these protests and riots are democratic-led cities?”

Basically the dems want to control the country and are doing anything they can to make sure that happens. 

Maybe this guy, who does porn movies also.....met up with the cops wife?

I am not sure where this goes but they do talk about this....probably one of the best Joe has done in awhile.

He apologized this morning, and if he can be sincere he could be fine. Last night I thought if his apology didn’t land, he may just retire.

Seems like more people want to stay mad at him and not believe in his efforts or sincerity.

Another wierd factoid is that he tested positive for Covid in the autopsy.

That might explain him saying he was having difficulty breathing before they even took him down.

What a shame that a guy can say what he said and get lambasted like he called for a holocaust.  Talk about a guy that puts his money where his mouth is - Brees' foundation has been a huge supporter of the New Orleans community post-Katrina.  Especially the black community.  I would like to see his efforts to help the black community of NOLA put up along side of some of those who have completely melted down over his supposed "insensitive" remarks.  The guy is entitled to his opinion.  He didn't say the next person shouldn't be able to protest the way he/she wants to.  In his mind, kneeling is disrespectful of the flag.  So what?  If someone sees it differently, then fine.  This environment of instant outrage is totally out of control.

I guess all the humanitarian efforts he was apart of don’t matter anymore when his opinion doesn’t exactly match up with yours. He should have just changed his profile picture to a black square and would have been fine apparently.

His Instagram was a black square the day before coincidentally.

People see what they want to see.  I don't know - it appears he puts something on the ground and then picks it back up.  But he then proceeds to pick up two other similar objects (I guess it was drugs) that were already on the ground.  Plus, if his body camera was on planting evidence that way was never going to fly.  And if his body cam wasn't on, then he didn't have to go thru all that he'd just say he found the drugs on the guy.

A big part of the polarization is a complete disconnect with reality, fueled by the media.  Sort of like that old line about "everyone in prison is innocent".  Some are.  Too many.  But most aren't.  Socioeconomic inequities are exacerbated by racism, but I would say the socioeconomic inequities are the much bigger problem

I agree that the timing wasn't good, but so what.   This business we have of entirely squashing someone because they even get a little out of line (according to our exact way of thinking) is preposterous.  I don't even agree with him that kneeling is disrespectful to the flag.  I think it is exactly what the flag represents.  But his opinion is fairly his. His actions over the years tell exactly where his heart is - in helping people.  If bad timing cancels that out, then we are all doomed.

No ones cancelling Drew Brees. Relax. 
Just because some dipshits on twitter want him cancelled doesn’t mean it has any legs. He said something at a bad time, and he apologized. This will be forgotten in 2 days.

I think people were more like wtf that after two years of saying it’s not about the flag and it’s not protesting the military, and that the flag should represent justice for all people....that he’s still saying the flag stands for him and his grandpa and fuck the rest of you guys. I agree with the right for him to believe that and say that. Kaep got cancelled for voicing his opinion, so Brees will also be canceled by some. I think it blows over tho by tomorrow .
