So you’re against shutdowns but you’re also against patrons visiting bars and restaraunts?

I’m saying patrons sitting inside bars and restaurants without masks can’t complain when the state is forced to shut down again.

Lol. You really don’t get it. Too funny

When Ohio gets shut down again, because of the increasing Covid numbers caused by lack of social distancing, you’re gonna complain about government overreach instead of the real problem. Wash rinse and repeat.

Is there an issue with him social distancing in a bar of 8 people? What’s he doing wrong exactly?

Should we shut everything down or enforce masks?

The mental gymnastics S&L displays with his "I actually agree with everything you all say, but you all are fucking idiot dumbasses!" schtick is actually pretty amazing.

Agree, but I think the "venue shopping" by posters here (and everywhere) bothers me more. For example, if one study says "true" while four others say "false", and true is the answer I want to be right, it becomes a fact in my eyes.

Welcome to the USA. That’s been a thing here for at least 2 decades now.

Ohio is completely open. Bars, restaurants, indoor dining, etc.

Numbers in Ohio are rising so they’re considering another shutdown. The numbers are rising because everything is open and social distancing, masks, etc. is not happening.

I mean did I really have to spell that out? The states where they just reopened everything are struggling with rising Covid cases because not everyone is taking precautions while they go out and sit at bars, restaurants, etc.

It was just funny to me that justin is literally at a bar (I’m sure the bar he’s at is fine, I’m sure justin and the patrons are not spreading Covid) while he’s posting frustration with the possibility of another shutdown

I think everyone here gets it (I hope Spock wears a mask but who knows). It is possible to be out and doing it safely and responsibly which Justin seems to be doing.

But yeah, if he were to close things down, the same people who bitched incessantly about having to wear masks wouldn’t see their faults.

I could actually see it being a major shit showif he did that.

By the way, you should absolutely enforce masks. It’s working, check out illinois’ progress these last few months. It’s because while bars and restaurants are open, they’re open for patio seating—servers are very strict on making sure you wear a mask when walking to the bathroom or taking your seat, etc. it seems silly but it’s obviously working. Everywhere you go there’s a sign that says you must wear a mask—and hey, 99.99% of people are wearing that mask. You don’t have to wear it walking down the street or exercising, or sitting in your own house. You just wear it when you’re around people. It’s really not that big of a nuisance and it’s obviously working.

Justin (and clearly everyone else!) get their panties in a knot when someone calls them out on their “going to a bar” stories.

But the point isn’t that justin is not being safe, the point is that others who are doing that aren’t being safe. maybe one of the other 8 people knowingly have Covid, maybe another bar down the street has 8 people in it and someone there has Covid. You never know.

The point was never that justin is irresponsible, it’s always been that someone else doing the same thing hes doing isn’t being responsible. And when No ones wearing a mask or practicing any sort of social distancing or care, well that’s how you get more cases.

Justin is against state mandated shutdowns (as you said you were) and for personal responsibility.  I fail to see how going to a bar disqualifies him from being frustrated with a state mandated shutdown.   It's about the state imposing the shutdown, not the shutdown itself.

Now, if this bar (and many other bars) shutdown on it's own and Justin bitched, then your logic would make sense.

Ok, stay calm and cool with your posts and laissez faire demeanor and exaggerate to make sure we all are imbeciles in each of your posts and replies.

Who’s fault was it when Illinois had so many cases early on in this pandemic?

Justin is going to bars, breweries, restaurants. If there is a government shutdown, he would look silly bitching about it.

I have not gone to bars, restaurants, breweries, except what’s allowed by my state which is patio seating and you must wear a mask when not sitting at your table. There are no paper menus, no servers at a lot of places. You order from an app and a runner brings you your food or you go pick it up yourself. Even my weekend back in Ohio I didn’t feel comfortable with joining my golf group inside a restaurant so I just didn’t go. If a shutdown happened again, I’d have every right to be mad because I did what health experts advised to do.

In both of our situations we can be against a gov’t shutdown.

I know “your schtick” on here is now to disagree with everything I say and point out everything logically wrong with what I say, but hopefully you can wrap your brain around that very simple logic.

No clue what your first point is. I think Ohio is doing it wrong and I say that on here. Are you guys seriously that butthurt because I call someone an idiot while I make a point? Jesus, bunch of sissies you all became.

Who’s “fault” is it early on in Illinois? Idk if that’s a black and white answer. The fault is probably on me and the citizens of Illinois because we were out and about. But we also didn’t know how to stop the spread of Covid. Ever since it’s been shutdown and gradually reopening  and getting back to some normalcy, it’s really helped our cases. Not sure if that answers your terrible question or not?

lol the "shtick" thing struck a nerve I see.  The irony of you telling everyone here that they get their panties in a bunch, because you disagree with them, but on the other side you get your panties in a bunch, because somebody picks apart your logic....  Coming in hot and calling everyone a moron does not make your argument stronger, sorry to break it to you.

Anyway, based on your example you have gone to bars/etc based on what the Illinois allows you.  Justin and everyone else is doing the same thing based on what Ohio allows them.  What it comes down to is you "feel" safer and believe the procedures in Illinois is better, and thus you're allowed to go to a bar and complain about another shutdown, but Justin it not.

I'm just here to read S&L droning on about how superior Illinois is.

Possibly, but too many confuse that with "fuck it, do nothing and let the chips fall as they may".

Why? He’s doing what he’s technically allowed to do and following the rules. Yeah I understand others haven’t been as careful which is why we need DeWine to figure out how to enforce the rules. But If you’ve went out and worn a mask, distanced, washed hands, etc. then I don’t think you’re in the wrong to complain. Why should you be punished for following the rules when others didn’t, but could have been made to?

That’s not at all what I’m saying. Illinois is a terribly run state. But I’ll give them credit for their reopening phases. It’s appeared to work, and the people are following the orders for the most part.
