Well the media is saying that because the dumb fuck wife who lived to talk is saying it. And I watched that presser and he did hint strongly that it was something that would work. So, not sure where the outrage at the media is for this?

It’s not the medicine version? He hinted that the medicine version would work, which is currently in testing in NY and also used in Korea. These people used an unprescribed non-medical version that is for ridding your aquarium of parasites. It’s like using rat poison bc it has Warfarin in it. The lady is saying it, and she’s a retard.

So will it be the media's fault if people die because they're afraid to take chloroquine after hearing it would easily kill them?

People are going to be stupid sure, but it is not prudent to state a solution until it has been vetted and approved by the experts. The solutions may work, but until the CDC, NIH, and FDA sign off on wide allocation, I'll hold off. 

On an unrelated note, the Olympics are finally pushed a year. Expected and warranted.

Saw an interview of some European "rocket scientist" Dr. that said he knew that the cocktail of meds would work weeks ago.  Maybe he has been in contact with "Trump".  Just because our so called "experts" didnt have a clue doesnt mean that the current administration wasnt getting valid info from other channels.

Aren't they one and the same? Aren't our experts also part of the current administration? Isn't that the whole point of the Pence led task force and the point of the daily federal briefing?

Just passing along the info. I know it's a very small sample size. This doc said the shortness of breath issue was going away in 4-6 hours. If this is fact, it is somewhat promising.

Is hope not also important?  It sounds like had Trump not said that, some doctors and patients wouldn't have been aware of the potential, and some of those patients believe they would have otherwise died.

I had 0 problem with what Trump said about the possible treatment.  He said it was not approved, but he was making it available for "comfort cases", meaning as a last resort.  The media, in its rush to smear all things Trump, omitted and distorted key aspects of those statements to make him look irresponsible.

Agree. I’m just defending the media here. They were reporting (at the person I was watching) the quotes from the lady. They weren’t saying she was right and it was Trumps fault, just stating her feelings, basically.

On a good note, my cousins husband works for BioFire Diognostics. They just got an email from corporate that their test has been FDA approved. They’ve been working on it with funding from the DOD for about a month. Nasal swab and takes 45 minutes for results. Hope to have it released in the coming weeks!

That would be awesome if it works out and it can be scaled quickly.  Incredible stuff.

Well, to be fair to all sides, I'm sure that there are some media outlets who would spin things as "this lady isn't really stupid, SHE'S RIGHT!!!!" in an attempt to score poli-points. And I"m equally sure that this (or any) story could be reported perfectly with no slant or bias for or against anyone or thing and a couple people here would bitch about the media regardless simply because that's what they do.

This presser from Cuomo today is, errr, a little bit rambling.  I think the guy might be exhausted!
