I always remember this guy when I think about this topic and this sums up how I feel about it. I think just like you can have 12 toes or 3 nipples or any other genetic variations I think you can be born with the wrong brain structure for your body. Yo can call that psychological if you want but in my belief it biological. There are anomalies all over Mother Nature that we can’t explain. Anyway he’s not indoctrinating his daughter he is a normal every day Christian

To be fair, this person isn’t trans (from what I’ve read). So it isn’t a man pretending to be a woman, but rather some messed up genetics. Still probably shouldn’t be allowed to fight women with the physical characteristics of a man. Of course the right is hammering it on Twitter though.

You got that right.

Edit: tried to bold the last sentence but it didn’t work for some reason.

Lol you get so uptight about word usage. Are they not pretending to be something they are not? Sure mentally they might think they are a woman, but that doesn’t make it so. I wasn’t assuming why they transitioned, but that they were born male.

Your whole premise is an assumption they are pretending. It is very dismissive.

I don't assume. Some may, some may not be and actually are that way.

Not apples to apples directly, but do you have the same premise for gay people? Are they pretending?

I think you misunderstand me. Intentionally or not doesn't matter much. Let me be very clear. And just talking about adults.

Medical facts aside, I personally don't care if somebody is trans. I will call them by whatever name they introduce themselves as most of the time. The exception mught be something like  their personality and immediately being demanding.

What I am against:

- frankensteining kids

- government forcing people to say words they don't believe

- removing kids from their homes because the parents disagree with frankensteining their kids and wanting their children to grow up before having irreversible medical procedures done

- schools keeping medical and psychological secrets of children from parents, enforced by government

- biological men infiltrating women's sports, especially combat sports

My "tone" lol

I see your points on the education side I've had a few discussions with neighbors and other folks about what schools are and aren't doing. Some of it makes little sense and seems too cautious.

We can agree there.

What does the consensus say that schools are or aren’t doing? In my 29 years I can say and this is anecdotal obviously, but teachers are very awkward and try to avoid any part of it like the plague especially older teachers. They don’t understand it and just try to pretend it isn’t happening. Others outright refuse to use pronouns. Personally I try to use the pronouns but the success rate is about 70%. The students usually understand and I apologize when I get it wrong. Schools aren’t in my experience pushing kids to be gay or transgender. They do however try to make a safe space that includes everyone and I try to be a part of that. We have gay teachers and principals but as a policy teachers don’t discuss religion, political beliefs or any type of things along those lines. We say go talk to a parent. Those lines at times can be blurry when they have no actual functional parents and need advice and we have counselors and a full time behavioral specialist at our school from Columbus children’s hos

Medically speaking, intersex people are truly what can be classified as trans, since they have to choose which sex they more closely identify. The intersex community is so small that the people who choose to just stay as intersex is almost non-existent.

Psychologically speaking you don't have to be intersex to believe or identify you are the opposite sex. This is why it's easier to say  something like pick a gender, rather than pick a sex.

It's usually not the teacher or principal that meddles in family affairs. Although there are teachers that are activists that have done it and most of them are fired once it's recognized. It's government and sometimes school boards. And neither the government nor school boards have any business sticking their noses into aiding and abetting keeping secrets of minors from parents, specifically about kids who want to trans.

No. My issue stems from when they try to make it literal “trans women are women” or whatever. Then they use that to say they should be in sports, locker rooms, and the like (tampons in men’s rooms). Or when they’re like wow a man had a baby. Well no, a woman had a baby who now says they are a man. There is a difference between existing as you want, and the nonsense that has come from it.

I don’t know what their genitals are, but apparently they failed a test recently for the World Championships proving they had a Y chromosome, which has led to them testing higher testosterone at times than females are supposed to for athletic competitions.

I didn’t check their genitals though, that’s pretty creepy.

Something about the IOC having different standards or something along those lines. And considering they also said a bunch of Chinese caught doping were actually all cool and if the USA had a problem with that, they might get the Salt Lake Winter Olympics taken from them, your guess is as good as mine as to what those standards might be.

Look the Olympics has become the same joke the UN is.  One wears the mask of peaceful sports competition.  The other peaceful existence between nations.  Both heavily infected by politics.

So someone with a Y chromosome who cuts off their junk should be allowed to box women?

And “well known” come on, you can’t be serious saying it’s “well known” that some obscure boxer from Algeria has a vagina vs a penis.  Think that through next time
