Years ago I tossed out the idea of a peaceful separation of the country, which some derided as crazy. Maybe some minds are starting to change in the face of the rapid slide down the slope.

Divide the country into the liberal US and the conservative US in a peaceful and equitable manner. There was obviously more to it than that, but I am not going to rehash all of it now. It would probably be the right way to go about it, given the direction we are headed.
