It's the highest inflation in 40 years, back in a time when mortgage rates were @ 16%.

So, yeah, kind of a big deal [potentially].  If mortgage rates were to jump to even 8% (where they typically averaged historically), it would probably make the Great Recession look like a hiccup.

Pete was mayor of South Bend, Indiana for God's sake.  A drive through of that beautiful burg will assure you that there's no doubt  he can handle a a trucker convoy.  

He couldn't handle the potholes in South Bend, but he can check a couple of boxes that REALLY make him qualified to be Sec of Transp.

Trump and the documents is a non story. But, it does have a very Sandy Berger vibe to it. I'm guessing Trunp wanted to keep some things and it was never told him or he ignored the policy.
