A large chunk of Ukrainians are Russian.  Combine that with a corrupt government and I think there’s a large chunk of their population that doesn’t GAF if the Russians come in.

Trump and the documents is a non story.

Ehhh, I think it's pretty bad.  While I suspect it's almost impossible to actually scrub records, it's a deliberate attempt at evading oversight.  Impeachable offense, at minimum, if not an actual crime.

Well, one, a lot of the documents labeled top secret most likely aren't. Two, it seems a lot of the stuff seems to be mementos or items he seemed to value from his time as President. The letters from Noeth Korea, the map of the hurricane, little things like that. Seems like he was told hey, you shouldn't do that, but like he always does, ignored people. 

Is is it bad in the grand scheme of things he has done, not really. If he did in fact try and obstruct anything then ok. But, so far does not seem sinister. 

Trumps continuing speeches about how the election was rigged and he won are way worse as an example.

A large chunk of those Russians living in Ukraine are concentrated in areas of Ukraine that are currently not under the control of the Ukrainian government.  If anyone is looking for relief from a corrupt government, the Russians are the last ones to look to.

I’m sure that’s true.  Nothing involving Russia and Ukraine is probably what it seems.  That’s been the way of it there for centuries

I don’t think Trump would have affected Putin’s actions one iota.  Trump desperately sought the guy’s approval for Christ’s sake.  Neither would Obama, W, Bubba, or Bush Sr.  

Put your fanboy love aside and realize that we haven’t had a leader equipped to deal with the likes of Putin for a long time.  This is a concerning trend in our politics,  

I'm not sure what Biden could do differently, or what would be a better course of action.

And as I've said many times, POTUS makes the final call, but he is HEAVILY influenced by career staffers, right down to the speeches.  Same goes for every other POTUS.  President is basically a cheerleader and policy shill.

Also, the weapons "Trump gave" to Ukraine were actually approved by the prior administration.  That was the big scandal that Trump tried to delay/prevent it to pressure Ukraine to investigate Biden.

Trump would not have given Putin his pipeline for nothing.  Biden gave Putin the leverage for free.  

And I will say it again.....Biden has no clue what is going on.  He is not making any decisions.

This has nothing to with any US president.  Its about restoring the Russian empire.  This shit is as old as time in this part of the world.  Let Putin figure out if he has ordered enough body bags.

Bingo.  Instead we get BS from presidents that - fill in the enemy - hates our freedom or hates democracy or whatever, proving they have no understanding of historical context.  This is why we get involved in centuries old conflicts and wonder why they turn into clusterfucks.  

The Russians and Ukrainians should be left to figure this out.  We’re not going to do anything - and aren’t capable of doing anything - to make a difference.  This predates the US by hundreds of years.
