Meh Kamala has been in this race for what 13 weeks?

This might be a big part of her problem.

Meh Kamala has been in this race for what 13 weeks? It’s been a race to find anything wrong with her and it reeks of desperation. Literally.. omg slept her way to the top, can’t prove she worked at McDonald’s, laughs funny .. it’s desperate

Wow. That's your take?

You keep lowering the bar for "low information" voter.  It's frightening that you're an "educator".  And there's an obvious reason I put that in quotes.

She's part black and a woman.  She had geeblock's vote at "black".  One of the "good" blacks, and not someone that "some people" call an Uncle Tom.

Sounds like a compelling argument to keep the war machine going.  Gotta make sure the bad guys don’t see us as pussies.

The US is a powerful balance in this shitty mess.  Russian invasion of Ukraine.  Iranian missiles fall on Israel, the red sea shipping lanes, and Ukraine.  Nork missiles used in strikes on eastern Europe.  Today Nork troops are at the front in Europe.

The war machine is just gearing up.  Estonian intelligence says the Russians will suffer about 40,000 casualties this month.  The Ukrainians likely less given they are mostly on the defensive.  Most do not get the scale.

How do we stop these deep state operators from pulling the levers of the war machine?

Not to get to deep in the weeds with this but... one of the far left people I watch is a black woman. And according to the black far left community, Kamala is not a black American. They have everything so narrowly defined and exclusionary that it's mind blowing. They want reparations but not every black or Biracial person would be able to get them. A person would have a descendant of Freedmen or ADOS (American descendant of slaves). I never heard of this until a few months ago. But yeah, they don't consider Kamala to be a black American. I will edit this post in a minute with a vid.

She (Sabby Sabs) talks about it here:

And here:

The far left really hate her lol

No but if you didn't you would not be black either.

Black people are intelligent enough to vote for who they want just like anyone on this board. Being white and casting your vote doesn’t make you more intelligent or validate your vote more than anyone else. Not directed and anyone in par

Both Obamas and Biden (amongst a plethora of others) have told black people that it’s unacceptable for them to vote the way they believe unless it’s for the left.

If you are a teacher and in my tax bracket and in a union and you believe in pro choice it makes more sense to vote democrat for me. Feel free to vote for who you want. My vote is there , despite the fact I don’t like trump. Has zero to do with race at all .

I'm not part of the crowd that says Trump is Hitler, but even you, Mr. checks and balances, have to acknowledge, he will not have as many people around him to tell him no.

He has surrounded himself with yes men.

If Republicans control Congress, there is little evidence recently, they will check him.

It’s not guaranteed they take the house if Trump wins, and even if they do it would be a small majority.  That right there makes it nearly impossible for Trump to shove everything he wants down our throats. Never mind that though, it was less than 2 years ago, where everyone had a good laugh the the Rs go through numerous rounds to elect a speaker.  Clearly the GOP is not aligned on every single issue, yet somehow Ptown thinks in just two years they will magically all be yes men to Trump.

If Trump wins, I really need to get in on this fear porn grift. I could have retired by now if I went all in back in 2016.

Maybe in Ptown's head the Republicans have already eliminated the filibuster, but it's mainly Dems making that threat.

Even if Repubs sweep, nothing remotely radical get close to 60 votes in the Senate.  And Trump had numerous actions struck down by the courts in his first term.

And despite the gaslighting from the left, the SCOTUS is not in Trump's pocket.  Kavanaugh, Gorsuch and Barrett have all broken with Thomas and Alito on various issues.  Chief Justice Roberts has routinely ruled with the liberal justices on various social issues, with abortion being the rare exception.  But, actually, for the most part their rulings have been to CONSTRAIN the executive branch and return some power to the states while ending/reversing judicial fiat.  Liberals just uber-mad because they had been relying on the courts to advance their agenda where they don't have the votes in Congress.

The SCOTUS is currently the most balanced it has been in my life, and a more accurate description is a 3-2 liberal/conservative split with 4 moderate/swing votes.  The issue is, with the far left, anyone to the right of them is automatically MAGA.  There's no spectrum or middle ground.  I guess when they view themselves as moderate then anyone to the right can only be MAGA.

Meanwhile the media has people all worked up. The term "madness of crowds" is confirmed at every turn.

It's nothing less than cartoonish.

1.) I think this is particularly true. There is a tug of war between the establishment and populist Republicans. It will be interesting to see who wins that.

2.) welcome back!

Always interesting to look at where they are closing.  Trump has been in NV, PA and MI recently.  He probably needs at least 2 of the 3.

Why Trump has been in NY and Kamala in TX makes no sense to me.  Maybe it has more to do with down ballot races there.  But their internal polling is usually far more accurate and precise than what we see

Dems seem to be a little better at closing ranks or cajoling dissent.  But if they had a narrow majority in the House like the Repubs had I think they would also struggle with their far left radicals holding them hostage.

But also a bit of a red herring because nothing purely partisan in the House is getting past the filibuster in the Senate.  Except both parties have done big things via budget reconciliation, which is bullshit.

So a Dem organization has been passing around a pic of Kamala Harris in an old McD's uniform in order to prove that she worked there. Turns out it's not true and now some Dem orgs are walking it back.

The other woman on the right has been dead since 2007.

Ok after seeing those pics I was like WTF?  Then I learned she is 60 years old. Damn, might’ve missed that by 15 years, maybe 18.

Had no clue her age.
