Unfortunately, I have to agree with this.

I saw some idiot on another board actually say non-white/non-male is a qualification.

Basically my whole life all I've heard is not to judge people on the basis of their sex/gender/race....but now suddenly it has merit in deciding who should be POTUS?!?

That thinking definitely played a role in Trump being elected.  I can't see how doubling-down on it is going to produce a different result.  The fact at least 1/3 of the Dem party doesn't recognize this doesn't make me optimistic about the future.  We keep talking about the Repub party fracturing and perhaps establishing a REAL Libertarian party.....but increasingly it looks like the third party we'll get will be Democratic Socialist.

Saw something on twitter that said Bloomberg allegedly reached out to Yang as a potential VP.

If Bernie gets the nomination, who do you think he'd pick? Does he voluntarily take a moderate or does the DNC force one on him?

If Biden gets it, who does he take?

I think Bernie wants an AOC type but the dems are never letting that happen.

Biden will take a governor.  Someone with no baggage.   He is running on his experience.  He doesn't need a DC swamper

I think it will be Biden/Kamala or Bloomberg/Booker.  I'd hope Tulsi rejects Bernie, and then I think Bernie picks Klobuchar.  AOC isn't old enough to run for POTUS, so doesn't that also disqualify her as VP?

The Dems lost in 2016 not because they didn't get the black vote, but partially because they didn't get the black turnout Obama did.

A #PeteToWarren hashtag is trending on Twitter. Lots of Pete voters now backing Warren, apparently.

you would think Pete supporters would go to Biden since Pete was closer to center like Biden and Warren is further left like Bernie.

Pete voters going farther left is interesting.  I guess the DNC played their hand by pushing Pete out and its going to backfire.

Looks like the DNC is getting behind Biden and floating money to Warren to stay in and steal votes from Bernie. There's a reason the largest Superpac got behind her this weekend.

538 showing it'll more than likely be a brokered convention.

I'm not too interested... We already know how this will go.  DNC will never let Bernie win their nomination. Bernie Bros wont vote for anyone but Bernie. Trump wins again.

That's about how I see it.  All the people who might have pledged their delegates for a VP spot are out.  Also, I believe Biden is actually ahead of Sander in the popular vote now (which would be hilarious to see Bernie flip-flop, again, on the nomination process).

But will Clinton show-up in Milwaukee and say "hey everyone!  I'm available!"

Wouldn't surprise me. And Dems are dumb enough to try it again.

Ha!  I think it will be a brokered convention, but maybe not all that dramatic if Biden has the most votes AND most delegates.  I just hope he doesn't pick Klobuchar as his VP.

Third parties aside, Trump, at 73, is now the youngest male candidate currently vying for President.

I'm most interested to see how many votes $500M buys Bloomberg

Warren appears committed to the bitter end.  I'm not sure what her strategy or endgame is in a brokered convention.  But I wonder if party power brokers are propping her up to take some of Bernie's support

Over/under on how many days until Biden is found wandering the WH lawn at night in his underwear?

So the party of identity politics forced out a women and gay man to immediately pledge their support to a 77yr old straight white male.

And Bernie is running around saying the "establishment" is conspiring to stop him.  That's going to be super for party unity!

I wouldn't be surprised to see Sanders and AOC form a 3rd party.  4 more years of Trump would be a completely inconsequential cost for the true believers.

I don't think people turnout to vote against someone.  The Bernie Bros are going to be pissed, again, and they'll stay home.
