I am probably in the minority with this opinion, but I actually don't think this is as crazy as some people are making it out to be. It's all about name recognition and nobody wants to associate with the coronavirus. This happens to brands all the time. Corona is already a shitty beer to begin with, so it's not difficult to choose another beer.

Oh yeah, 51 year old African-American shooter whose wife is an Elizabeth Warren supporter. Guess that doesn't fit the narrative. Nothing to see here....

I think his sudden departure points to positioning for VP. If he did poorly on Super Tuesday, it might have hurt him now and in the future. Also, it helps divvy up his votes between the remaining "moderates". Except there has apparently been a lot of early voting.
I just don't know who would really have him as a VP candidate - white, male and gay is not the demo anyone is looking to add to their ticket. LOL, if he was a woman, or a minority, and was gay then it would be HUGE!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with this.
Saw something on twitter that said Bloomberg allegedly reached out to Yang as a potential VP.
If Bernie gets the nomination, who do you think he'd pick? Does he voluntarily take a moderate or does the DNC force one on him?
If Biden gets it, who does he take?
